Didn't Bush appoint the IRS dude that did all this?

2001 was under who? Why wouldn't they still be watched for trying to not declare assets?

WASHINGTON -- James Ostrowski and Leonard A. Roberto, central figures in competing factions of Buffalo's low-tax tea party movement, both have a history of failing to pay federal income taxes, Erie County records show.

Liens totaling $52,459.83 have been filed against Ostrowski's Buffalo home for unpaid federal taxes dating back to 2001, the county records show.

Roberto settled five liens against his properties in Depew and Alden about two years ago after a long battle with the Internal Revenue Service that, he said, cost him upward of $150,000.

Has Big Sis taking them off yet? They seemed pretty sure (or hoping to Gaia) it was those racist white tea party types that set off the pressure cookers in Boston. It was tax day after all.

Alas... it was not to be.
I guess if you don't want to be pegged as a terrorist, don't do stuff that has been deemed terroristic?

Like serving in Iraq and Afghanistan and being honorably discharged? Big Sis said we must be vigilant of those people.

Just pissed off and left feeling used.

Does arm flapping reverse any of powers given to the IRS through the Patriot Act?

Is this the first time the powers of the Patriot Act have been abused by a Gov agency?

Doesn't hiding behind the powers of the Patriot Act automatically give "the Chiefs" an out?

Would this or any other abuses have been possible without the powers of the Patriot Act?

Who first gave the Patriot Act it's power and who still left it in place?

What gives the Patriot Act it's power over the People?

Is it patriotic?

Congressman: IRS asked pro-life group about 'the content of their prayers'

During a House Ways and Means Committee hearing today, Rep. Aaron Schock, R-Ill., grilled outgoing IRS commissioner Steven Miller about the IRS targeting a pro-life group in Iowa.

“Their question, specifically asked from the IRS to the Coalition for Life of Iowa: ‘Please detail the content of the members of your organization’s prayers,’" Schock declared.

“Would that be an inappropriate question to a 501 c3 applicant?” asked Schock. “The content of one’s prayers?”

“It pains me to say I can’t speak to that one either,” Miller replied.

But it was Bush's dude.

If you're blind in one eye and can't see through the other....

And Bush was what? According to many Bush haters he was what... the dumbest, the biggest idiot... and absolute moron. Right? Right?

So what does that say about the current POTUS?

Why on Earth would those good men and women come home disgruntled? I don't see them as Left or Right, good or bad, up or down.

Just pissed off and left feeling used.

Good grief.

Well Big Sis has sent the word out. Be vigilant.

Now that the Bush Patriot Act is being used against the people by all agencies and both Parties, it's Obama's fault?

You've gotten what you asked for.

Anonymous Cincinnati IRS official: “Everything comes from the top.”

A story in the Washington Post yesterday about the Internal Revenue Service’s Cincinnati office, which does most of the agency’s nonprofit auditing, clearly contradicted earlier reports that the agency’s targeting of Tea Party groups was the result of rogue agents.
The Post story anonymously quoted a staffer in Cincinnati as saying they only operate on directives from headquarters:

The apologists and their fanboyz of this crap are akin to the blind leading the blank.

Schieffer to Obama Advisor: ‘Why Are You Here? Why Isn’t the White House Chief of Staff Here?’

As NewsBusters reported two weeks ago, CBS’s Bob Schieffer is fed up with the White House’s talking points concerning what happened at our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, last September.

His impatience continued on Sunday's Face the Nation when Obama senior advisor Dan Pfeiffer gave stock answers to questions about the three crises facing the President leading Schieffer to first accuse his guest of taking "exactly the approach that the Nixon administration took" and finally scolding him by asking, "Why are you here today? Why isn't the White House Chief of Staff here to tell us what happened?" (video follows with transcript and commentary):
