LOL well as a Quebecer I cannot ever remember seeing a Muslim wearing a face covering. Some simply wear what many years ago women called bandanas. As for many Canadian women the style has changed and because it has, many times that is the only way Muslim women can be distinguished from any other Canadian lady.

I do remember walking outside the Forum many years ago and seeing a six foot plus (I hope was a man) walking along Ste-Catherine street in a complete Black Muslim outfit and even he (again I hope) did not have a face covering. Now that person should have had a face covering for sure as it would have covered the black beard stubble and beat up features of a prize fighter.

WE do NOT care if Muslim wear niqabs in public- people wear all sorts of odd stuff these days- and pierce the weirdest stuff too.....

What DOES worry us is that the public appearance of somebody in a niqab clearly signals the presence of a devout Muslim family in our midst- after all, since Muslim women are not allowed to leave the house without permission of hubby- and MUST be accompanied by a male escort- its stands to reason she did not immigrate here without her male Muslim OWNER!

You know who I mean- those Muslim men who want to make Muslim women have so many children that when they grow up they can all vote and take over parliament and ram Sharia Law down our throats! I really look forward to that day when people like bluebyrd get shoved out of their govt job and told to go back to the kitchen- and you better cook up something good or there will be punishment!

The look on her face when her drivers license is CANCELLED- because under Sharia Law women have no business being out on the street alone- ought to be priceless!

LOL, so where were you that you missed all those nuns & priests just a couple of decades ago that wore the"costumes" of their faith ?? The angst of child molestations and stories of of young married women who needed help in "going forth and multiplying" did not include every single person of Christian faith; merely the perpetrators themselves.
