That sounds like a Mexico problem, not a US problem. They got into Mexico, and across Mexico somehow.
Well, Mexico won’t take them back because Venezuela won’t take them back, so then they would be stranded in Mexico. Mexico isn’t interested in that.

Not a US problem. The US problem is keeping illegals out of the country and returning any they catch to the country they came from. The dogooders that think illegals should be permitted to stay can start ponying up the money. Taxpayers have more important things to spend it on. My sister and my niece were just up from Colorado last weekend and we were talking about it. They have a winter place in Arizona where boarder crossing is a real problem.

it's a problem in lots of countries to one degree or another but i swear in the states it's like a problem crossed with a sporting event crossed with a game show.
We have a shit tonne of illegals. More than anyone realises. For most their goal is the US.

Need a wife? I know of a whack of Slavics and Chinese looking.

Truth be told, i've never really looked into what the canadian situation is. For a time you ran into a lot of undocumented auzzies around here but certainly nobody thought badly of it. It would make sense that this would be considered a pretty easy port of entry and it' pretty easy to slip across the line north to south.

I'll have to look at that one of these days - you never really think of 'illegal immigration' as being a canadian issue other than the infamous asylum seekers sneaking from the us into canada.

Migrants sue Florida governor over Martha's Vineyard flights

BOSTON — Venezuelan migrants flown to the upscale Massachusetts island of Martha’s Vineyard sued Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and his transportation secretary Tuesday for engaging in a “fraudulent and discriminatory scheme” to relocate them.

The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Boston, alleges that the migrants were told they were going to Boston or Washington, “which was completely false,” and were induced with perks such as $10 McDonald’s gift certificates.

“No human being should be used as a political pawn,” said Ivan Espinoza-Madrigal, executive director of Lawyers for Civil Rights, which is seeking class-action status in the lawsuit filed on behalf of several migrants who were aboard last week’s flights and Alianza Americas, a network of advocacy groups.

“It is opportunistic that activists would use illegal immigrants for political theater,” said Taryn Fenske, DeSantis’ communication director, in a statement late Tuesday.

The lawsuit, which also names Secretary of Transportation Jared W. Perdue as a defendant, alleges that migrants were induced to cross state lines under false pretenses, a line that some Democratic officials are using to urge a federal investigation.

On Monday, Javier Salazar, the sheriff of Bexar County, which includes San Antonio, opened an investigation into the flights, but the elected Democrat did not say what laws may have been broken. California Gov. Gavin Newsom and U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro, whose district includes San Antonio, have asked the Justice Department to begin a probe.

Guesswork was rampant among government officials, advocates and journalists Tuesday about DeSantis’ next move, consistent with the element of surprise that he and another Republican governor, Greg Abbott of Texas, have sought to achieve by busing and flying migrants across the country to Democratic strongholds with little or no notice.

Asked Tuesday about speculation that DeSantis may send migrants to his home state of Delaware, President Joe Biden said: “He should come visit. We have a beautiful shoreline.”

DeSantis declined to confirm speculation, based on flight-tracking software, that more migrants were on the move. He again defended his decision to fly about 50 Venezuelans to Martha’s Vineyard, saying their decisions were completely voluntary and, without evidence, that they were in awful condition when Florida got involved.

Good question. Now I have one for you. . .

Did your mom drink a lot when she was pregnant with you?

Do you have to stoop so low that you have to bring someone's family member into the conversation? You really are a classless liberal commie alright. Stop acting like an immature 16 year old and act more like a man. if that is possible for you. Cuckoo-cuckoo to you, lefty. 🙁

He supports immigration of Norwegians.
Better to have more white folk like Norwegians immigrate to America then have more non-whites immigrate to America. White folk must unite together to save our superior white race. Works for me. (y)

You could say that for most of our problems these days.

In Canada, we have had way too many french PM liberal socialists from Kweebec for decades now who have been doing a great job of running and ruining this once great British/European country into the ground. I would just love to see french Kweebec FO and separate. Sadly, the french cowards will not. They need to be forced out of Canada. (y)

Well a lot of the non quebec ones weren't much better, focusing on Ontario and Quebec to the exclusion of other provinces. What we REALLY need is to grow western Canada to be stronger both economically and in population. Then we can't be ignored or exploited like that. And that's coming slowly, every census the west tends to add more seats than quebec and ontario, but it would sure be nice to see that speed up. Problem is, these days who has time or money to have kids?

Doesn’t matter when Quebec is not allowed to lose seats or senators .

Well it does when we add them faster. If they want to stay at their current number, fine, but that means everyone else goes up.

If that changes over time then we have to look at options but the fact is that the bigger we get, the less anyone cares about what quebec thinks.
