You remind me of the peeps at the timmys that sit there and order up a whole specialty meal with everything done a certain way, tieing up the line up in the drive thru, you want fancy grub then go to a restaurant, drive thrus are for people that want a fast meal, sammy for lunch or a coffee.
Which brings up one of my pet peeves.............service at lunch time. Bro-in-law and I have a standing routine every two weeks we go to the casino in the morning play for a couple of hours and then stop at a restaurant for lunch. One time we made the mistake of stopping at one restaurant............"Original Joes" may have been the name of it. From the time we sat until the food hit the table was 40 minutes!!!! Most people who are working have 1/2 hour for lunch. I've always maintained there should be a bowl of soup or salad on the table within two minutes and a sandwich within 5. That's how you get and keep customers.
I really like fried onions in my hamburger. If I asked McDonald's to substitute fried onions for the lettuce, should I demand they do it? And, a sprinkle of seasoned salt - is that too much to ask? Also, maple-walnut ice cream on the Canadian side. Furthermore, call the frigging napkins serviettes! And they shouldn't say, "There you go!" They should say, "Here you are!" "There you go!" sounds so much like "Fu<k off!" Whew, I needed to get this off my chest.
Well, nothing like "calling a spade a spade".
