In all 6 provinces that ive lived, there were families who have loved ones in Alberta. Forgetting Alberta, even when Alberta didnt vote for JT, is a bad idea.

That is why i believe it was just a mistake. One that will bite him in the arse from time to time.

We are a pretty mobile society these days, one could say the same thing referencing every province and territory.

Ultimately, as you point out, a small slip can cost him points whereas there is no upside in this slip up

SHows how trudOWE sr. &jr. Feel about the west.

Tater tot is different from his old man in that he does understand that it is the various resource sectors that will be paying the bills for Canada for years to come... It is his best source for cash to buy the votes out East

Pierre loved the west. He used to vacation here. Something about a via rail trip was very memorable for all.

Pappas trudOWE only came west to see what he could steal for Quebek.

Someone best explain this to horgan. He wants to close down BC's resource industries while creating jobs.

The pain, the pain will not go away until he issues an apology and then our Provinve gets mentioned alone. Oh the pain of it all.
That is the biggest news story, Really?? You guys should try a bit harder, really.

Horgan will have his moment of clarity just like Notely... After all, he'll be needing lots of cash to buy-off his voter base and methinks that BC is damn close to it's breaking point in terms of increasing taxes.

While I think Trudeau is an idiot I do think it was a simple mistake. As an Albertan born & bred I'm thinking I'm not offended 'cuz the more he forgets us the better off we'll be. By not thinking about us he and his Ilk may not think of how else to screw us over. It's bad enough we have Rachel Notley. Between the two of them, we're in trouble anyway. Ont. is in even worse shape but we're well on our way. B.C. should think twice about the NDP/Green party coalition. Their so-called good economy can tank rather quickly if they're not careful!

I'm no fan of Justy either, but agree that it was a slip.

One that I'll likely never hear. He has the kind of voice (in French or English) that grates on me. Worse than fingernails on a blackboard. When I hear him speaking, I have to change the channel. I'll read the transcript, if it's something important. So far into his mandate, little that he's said is of any consequence, good or bad, to Canadians.

I miss Dief speaking French.

It's not rocket science. Trudeau only had to get one thing right in that speech - not forget a single province or territory, and he overlooked the one that is mist likely to feel slighted.

I get the distinct feeling that the young lad is not the brightest candle on the cake!

Mulroney was from Quebec.

Yep, Baie Comeau...............way off in the boondocks!

Flossy becoming disillusioned........ROFLMAO
Considering he is already in never, never land that would be a return to sanity wouldn't it? Next question would be why in hell would I be asking you? You come from a Country that thrives on fantasy, you would agree with that right? (Hint: stay away it is a catch-22 type of question)

'I'm a little embarrassed': Justin Trudeau forgets Alberta in Canada Day speech - Edmonton - CBC News

All joking aside, it's probably something anyone of us could do while making an important speech on the most important day of the year. I wouldn't personally hold it against him. Of course the foregoing doesn't preclude the sad facts of Trudeau's intelligence and capability. It's better if we hang him for a sheep than a lamb. :)

You have it pegged to a T, Dixie! But now that the stupidity has been done (which Andrew Weaver has to bear the brunt of the responsibility) we have no choice but to sit and watch our downfall unfold. Hopefully the pieces can be picked while still in a condition they can be reassembled! :) :)
