Actually, this entire mess was devised, created and spread by none other than Karl Rove, Dick Cheney and of course, George W. Bush.

They started it Mexico, for two reasons: foment xenophobia in the United States and create economical distress in Mexico.

They did all this in cohoots with Barrack Obama. Isn't it obvious? Bush messes up, Obama fixes it.

I can't see why people around the world are making such a big deal of this.

Around 4000 people die of normal flu every year in Britain. Though during an epidemic in 1990, 30,000 died.

So far in Britain, nobody has died of swine flu though, the last time I checked, 28 people had contracted it.

That's 28 people out of 61 MILLION people - which means that 0.000046% of the British population have had swine flu so far, and nobody's died.

A 12 year old girl, who I think is from Gloucestershire, who suffered from swine flu said it only felt like a normal cold.

It may have something to do with the fact that this flu strain has not been seen in humans before. Combined with the fact that it is unusual to have a flu spreading around this time of year in the Northern Hemisphere. Combined with the fact that the 1918 flu did a similar thing in spring, and in the fall when it hit was very, very nasty.

But that's all probably not true, it's simply a conspiracty by Al Gore to make you buy his vaccine which will mess with your brain.

Wife and I wandered around Vancouver airport for a while. Probably a quarter at most of the people there are wearing masks. Thing about the masks though, is that most masks aren't airtight (most being the one size fits all type) and virii can squeeze into some awfully tight places. As we've heard from people in the know, the masks are a good thing for infected people to wear so they limit the chance of infecting others. Wash a lot.
We've not shown any signs of illness since we got here last Tuesday.

The best preventative is elderberries - jam, jelly, tincture, wine. Grows wild all around here, easy to harvest. Freeze um, put a table spoon of berries in a smoothy in the morning - no flue. Been used for hundreds of years successfully. No money in it for the Pharmaceuticals though, so expect a law against its use pretty soon.

It would be a cold day in hell. I was threatened with jail for refusing to have my kid vaccinated thirty years ago. If they want to inject me with mercury and formaldehyde, they are not going to have an easy time of it.
