If environmentalists were serious about cutting pollution they would be spending their donations in the lab looking for ways to clean up the environment instead of jetting around the free world protesting economic generators.

300 protestors could probably hoe and seed good 60 acres in a day BUT they,d consumer far more energy than the tractor that can can do it in half an hour.

The environmentalists that got educations in environmental sciences are now highly paid by oil, mining and forestry companies doing reclamation and doing a damn good job of it.

Two hundred of them wouldn't even know how to use a hoe.

That would be real environmentalists. Not your garden variety freeloaing protesters.

Or finding ways to reduce water consumption in fracking. Or finding more efficient ways to farm.

Practicality deems we streamline rather than abolish these things.

Not sure about that. The environmental lobbyists that pushed for the Clean Water Act and the Clean Air Act did some good.

Climate change is costing us because most of the environmental movement has been co-opted by the corporatist demons long ago and the decision was made long ago to not educate the masses as to the periodicity of catastrophic climate change and instead suck up billions from the flock in futile stupid ideas like carbon footprints greenbins and the miracle of frankenfoods, all supposed to ameliorate a non-existent problem with swamp gas.
Why would they warn us, they've already warned us about overpopulation. Guess which catastrophy would cost them less, in gold, and ensure their continued existence atop the human pile.
