Don't get me wrong, Talloola, of course the blame has to be shared (for whatever good it will do) but the point I'm trying to make if J.T. deserves to be fired it shouldn't be for this game, his decision not to play Lu against Ottawa might be a better reason.
i wouldn't fire him for either one of those decisons alone. it is an accumulation of decisions that
pile one on another, including the two you mention.
with each decision he has made, starting some time ago, there is a pile of them, now he has problems
with this team which result from his first decision right on thru, and now in his post game interview
he is beginning to crumble, he doesn't know what to do. the team needs him to be the one the team leans
on at a time like this, that is a strength of a coach, his stupid calgary antics has hurt his demand for any respect, his stupid remarks about the olympics,
his decision to play lack in the heritage game, and on and on.
he is responsible for luongo leaving, now he is responsible for lack losing confidence and having to
carry the whole load, when he isn't ready, and on and on.
if luongo had of played in the heritage game, he would still be here,
even if they still had lost the game, and lack would still have that
big guy up front to carry most of the load, and help him learn how
to be a confident nhl goalie, but now lack is alone with that chore.
