Well, that's it for me, I'm convinced.
I wonder if anyone's seen an image of Christ after a good poo.
Food for thought.
"Hey, look at the corn kernels! The corn's making a smilie face!"
Of course everybody knows what Jesus looks like and that ain't him. Looks more like the Marquis de Sade.
I am a scatologist and I have never seen a face even in cow pies although the patterns in my bathroom floor tiles are full of them.I am not into end times, es-scatology!
Sadly, people sometimes look for physical manifestation when the reality is that Jesus wouldn't reveal himself this way. If you want to be convinced one day like Dex does, then listen to the testimonies of people who have been healed of afflictions by Jesus. That's how he reveals himself, and he does it everyday.
OMG! Are you saying the image of Jesus in the grilled cheese sandwich is a fake? Holy Crap! I don't know if I can go on.8O
People heal themselves. Since most don't believe they can, they look for intermediaries to do it for them, like doctors, alternative healers or Jesus. But in the end we can only heal ourselves, just the same as we make ourselves sick. Faith can heal but it really doesn't matter what it is you think you have faith in. Faith in oneself is the only true faith.

The placebo effect is well documented. I have seen people healed by faith healers, native medicine men and women, Wicca practitioners, psychic surgeons, doctors, Acupuncturists, naturpaths and I have also seen people heal themselves. In fact I have been healed by most of the above. So, a kind of placebo effect, our wishful thinking causes actual physical change and healing? Does medical science back this up in any way?
In contrast to the notion that people heal themselves, people's testimonies about healing from Jesus can have convincing proof that an affliction did exist, usually pics or medical records. This in conjunction with the healed person right in front of you, telling you how they believed Jesus heals, leaves no doubt.

I'd be more inclined to call it a "self fulfilling prophecy"
I am a christian Alley so I am not here to knock what you say. However. My doctor (medical science?) told me years ago that one can actually wish a wart away. We were talking about warts so that's why warts were the topic. What he stated was that if you really really want it to happen and you believe strongly enough, you can kick in your immune system and it will "heal" the wart. As a christian, I would like to have enough faith that Jesus/God would heal my ills. However. My daughter-in-law's Mother was one of the strongest believers in her faith that I have known. Cancer still killed her. No matter how hard she prayed and no matter how hard everyone prayed, and no matter how strong she was (and she was strong), in the end she still died the same death that everyone dies of lung cancer. So, while I believe that certain things are healed through a positive attitude and a refusal to give in, many many things simply are not and it has nothing to do with God and /or faith. None of us gets out alive. So, a kind of placebo effect, our wishful thinking causes actual physical change and healing? Does medical science back this up in any way?

Unfortunately my friend, testimony is worth almost nothing as evidence, simply because there are so lamentably many ways we can fool ourselves into believing things that we want to be true.If you want to be convinced one day like Dex does, then listen to the testimonies of people who have been healed ...
Right, because you assume God doesn't exist. Because you assume, you need to make an excuse, instead of just plainly listening to the person's testimony. People will tell you who healed them.
As for the wart thing, I'm very skeptical.
Alley,
In the Last Whole Earth Catalogue there was an article about a guy who claimed to get rid of Planters Warts with VooDoo and a Swiss Army Knife. He said he would dig at them relentlessly with the knife while cursing their existence. Eventually they went away and he firmly believed that it was because of VooDoo. He had faith in VooDoo.
