Invented ages
In relation to traditional Western history, which is largely fabricated, six ages can be distinguished.
The Old Testament period begins with the creation of the world in the year minus 5508 and ends with the invasion of Antiochus Epiphanes in Jerusalem which was placed in the year minus 167. Regarding the central line of Jewish history, the Old Testament time was construc*ted by means of a historicising interpretation of the biblical stories. The history of the return from the Babylonian captivity to the invasion of Antiochus in Jerusalem was invented in the Antiquitates Judaicae, the second work ascribed to Flavius Josephus.
The New Testament period begins with the invasion of Antiochus Epiphanes in Jerusalem in the year minus 167 and ends with the destruction of the temple of Jerusalem that was placed in the year 70. In relation to some particular calculations, the New Testament time has been extended to the death of Emperor Vespasian in the year 79, or the death of his son Emperor Titus in the year 81. The history of the New Testament time is completely fabricated. Elements of the Greco-Roman Commonwealth are not made up, but have been distorted and moved to another time.
The ancient church time begins with the destruction of the temple of Jerusalem in the year 70, and ends 1330 years later in the year 1400. For the furnishing of the old church time the creators of history first designed a skeleton, and then filled this framework with political history and writings. The old church period contains the second part of antiquity and the Middle Ages. The history of the old ecclesiastical era is almost entirely made up.
In the calculations of the makers of history, Renaissance begins in the year 1330 and merges into modern times. The Renaissance can be considerd as an iceberg. What we call the renaissance is the visible top of the iceberg. The much largers part under water can be called the protorenaissance, a period of great creativity. In the proto-renaissance the preceding three ages have been created and the most important literary works belonging to this three ages. As the creation of the three preceding ages had to be hided, also the renaissance belongs to the ages with invented history.
The three invented ages Old Testament time, New Testament time and Old Ecclesial Time, replace the real but unknown history of the Old World or First World. In history criticism, a growing consensus states that the Old World came to an end due to a worldwide catastrophe that modified thoroughly the conditions on earth. Some place the catastrophe in 1350, others in 1550, still others around 1688 or even later, and always with good arguments. According to some authors, a solution should be found by accepting two or even tree world catastrophes separates by about 200 years. I on my part think that different calendars and eras have been used, with overlapping ages, as to hide the two hundred years of recovery of civilisation after the catastrope.
In modern times, traditional Western history became the standard history, and standard history was underpinned by scientifical justification. Nearly the entire invented history had been integrated in standard history, except for the creation of the world in six earthly days, which had been replaced by the not les funny millions and millions of years of earth history. From 1648 onwards, the history of the own time became somewhat more reliable, but the invention and falsification of history has never stopped, and reached a new high in the nineteenth century.
Perhaps in contemporary times the falsified history will collapse and disappear in the abyss of time. Perhaps a beginning will be made with the liberation of humans from falsified history AND the repressed real history. Perhaps, I say, because standard history is stubborn, and radical criticism of history is mixed up with fringe science. If is a lonely job. If I would write my blog in Russian, I would have immediately dozens of colleagues with equally wide-ranging approaches. In the West you can find webites making a spectacle out of the theories of Fomenko or Velikovsky, but rare are those who really contribute to history and chronlogy criticism, and most of them are writing in German. Perhaps the collapsing of invented history will not be the effort of scattered critics, but of the changing times themselves.
