I think you just inadvertently blundered on to a cold hard fact of life about climate- over the long haul it all balances out. We never heard a thing about climate change 20 years ago, but now it's big news when we have 5 warm years in a row in any particular place in spite of the fact that climate trends can last for a couple of hundred years. Check out the summer of 1816, particularly on the Atlantic seaboard and in parts of Europe!
Drought Has Europe's Farmers Fearing Crop Failures and Bankruptcies
In some places, more than half the harvest could be lost as farmers in a dozen or so countries deal with a once-in-a-generation drought and devastating heatwave, NBC News reports.
“I have never seen this type of hot and dry weather, and I’ve been farming over 30 years,” said Max Schulman.
Schulman, whose farm is about 35 miles from Helsinki, Finland, said only 3 inches of rain has fallen there since the end of April. He sees 10 to 14 inches most years.
The drought-plagued area stretches from Ireland and the United Kingdom through Norway, Sweden and Finland in the north, and from parts of France and Germany through Poland and into the Baltic states further south.

Lennart Nilsson is a cattle farmer and co-chair of the Swedish Farmers Association. This is the worst drought he has ever seen.
“This is really serious,” Nilsson told The Guardian. “Most of southwest Sweden hasn’t had rain since the first days of May. A very early harvest has started but yields seem to be the lowest for 25 years – fifty percent lower, or more in some cases – and it is causing severe losses.”

Hot enough for you?
The heat warning continues for Toronto and the rest of southern Ontario as the long weekend unfolds, with daytime temperatures north of 30C from now through Tuesday.
Slightly lower temperatures at night will not offer much relief.
A cold front moving through Tuesday should bring rain in the late afternoon, but no real break from the heat will arrive until Wednesday.
With Sunday and Monday’s temperatures hovering near 33C — and seeming more like 40C thanks to soaring humidex values — even the lightest outdoor exercise will feel a lot like moving through a vat of soup.
Don’t expect isolated showers to lower the temperature anytime soon, either.
Toronto’s medical officer of health advises people to stay in air conditioned spaces where possible, and visit public swimming pools or cooling centres to escape the heat.

Do not leave people or pets in a car in this weather (or ever), as there’s an elevated risk of heat stroke and heat exhaustion.
Heatwaves also prompt an uptick in heart attacks and stroke and put the elderly at risk of dehydration.
Toronto’s weather could be considered mild in comparison to what’s going on in Europe, where yet another summer of record-breaking heat is taking its toll.
In southern European countries, temperatures regularly soar past 40C. Elsewhere, livestock are dying of thirst, forest fires are becoming more common (barbecuing has been banned in parts of Sweden as a fire safety measure) and drought is destroying crops. Severe weather incidents such as flooding rainfall and violent thunderstorms have also increased with global climate change.
Torontonians can find relief from the heat at various locations . And here are tips from public health officials on beating the heat .

There's all kinds of theories, but climate change has been happening since the start when there was no man on the planet, I suppose man does have a minimal connection to it, but that is just temporary, Mother Nature will win out in the long run. When people revert to common sense and clean up their garbage, things will start to straighten out. Basically there hasn't been much change in weather or climate since I was a kid. Summers were just as scorching hot then as they are now.
The subject is not weather nor is it humans, the planet does not even know we are here, our entire footprint cannot and does not act on the gross physics of this planet. These present galactic field shifts are acting on every body in this solar system. This planet is not the exclusive victim of increased galactic influx. You can shine your environmental halo all you want, it will not influence the Suns slumber even the least bit. Yes mother nature wins everytime, she owns the entire solar system, not just this little planet.
