BL- I see you nicked your legs while shaving. Did you cry, did your nylons have a run in them.

Makes no difference whatsoever.

Sure it does and by saying so, and agreeing with the bullying, you are helping to perpetuate the acceptance of it.

BTW, you never answered me: what if a girl brings in a lunch bag with Transformers on it - a boy's toy - should she be bullied as well?

NC school tells boy,9, to leave My Little Pony lunch bag at home, report says
Published March 15, 2014FoxNews.com
North Carolina school officials are telling a 9-year-old North Carolina who has been bullied for bringing a My Little Pony lunch bag to school to leave the bag at home.

Grayson Bruce and his mother say he is being shoved around by school bullies who think his favorite bag is for girls.

"They're taking it a little too far, with punching me, pushing me down, calling me horrible names, stuff that really shouldn't happen," Bruce told WLOS News13, an ABC affiliate in Asheville, N.C. "Most of the characters in the show are girls, and most of the people put it toward girls, most of the toys are girlie."

But Noreen told the station Thursday the school asked her son to leave the bag at home because it had become a distraction and was a "trigger for bullying."

She said that doesn’t make sense and wants the school to punish Grayson’s tormentors.

"It's promoting friendship, there's no bad words, there's no violence, it's hard to find that, even in cartoons now," she said.
Grayson has developed a following on Facebook after a friend made a support page for him.

Buncombe County Schools gave WLOS a statement that said: "An initial step was taken to immediately address a situation that had created a disruption in the classroom. Buncombe County Schools takes bullying very seriously, and we will continue to take steps to resolve this issue."

The My Little Pony Cartoon is a decades-old kids show that uses pony characters to emphasize the bonds of friendship.
Grayson is now using a different backpack.

Hope their next step is a little smarter than blaming the victim.

As long as that kind of sh*t prevails it's only going to get worse. Years ago a boy in Victoria was beaten senseless and badly disabled for life because some kids objected to the colour of his jacket. F**kin' thugs have to start minding their own business and people with balls have to step in.

9-year-old bullied boy banned from wearing My Little Pony bag

A North Carolina school has banned a boy, 9, from bringing his My Little Pony backpack to school, calling it a "trigger for bullying."
"They're taking it a little too far, with punching me, pushing me down, calling me horrible names -- stuff that really shouldn't happen," Grayson Bruce of Buncombe County told News ABC 13.
But rather than target the bullies, the school punished Grayson, telling him to leave his bag at home.
"Saying a lunchbox is a trigger for bullying is like saying a short skirt is a trigger for rape. It's flawed logic, it doesn't make any sense," said his mom, Noreen Bruce.
More than 16,000 people have liked a Facebook group called "Support for Grayson" and even right-wing pundit Glenn Beck has come to his defence.
In a statement, the school board said: "An initial step was taken to immediately address a situation that had created a disruption in the classroom. Buncombe County Schools takes bullying very seriously, and we will continue to take steps to resolve this issue."

Yeah I gotta say, my first instinct would be to rip the little pony bag off of him and forbid him to wear it. I know it is wrong but screw human rights I would want my kid to be safe.

I know things can't change this way but man I would be so worried every time he went to school.

The world can be horrific and cruel and unaccepting...I would just wanna protect my kid.

And quite rightly, too. My Little Pony is for girls. Stop taking that silly bag into school and he will stop getting bullied by the more sensible kids. Simples.

I still haven't got over the shock of that guy at my college who used to carry a pink Mr Men satchel.

Again, this is a non-story.

What a laughably appropriate name he has got.

Here's another person called Grayson: Grayson Perry....
In spite of it being "simples", you still don't seem to get it: the problem isn't the bag, eejit, it;s bullying. This is just like that other thread in which you were blaming those kids in the bus for being raped and killed. Typically a sociopathic attitude.

Our wee lil' ahab here tries like the liddle engine that couldn't. Mr Leaf seems to know how to handle small-time trollettes. Ain't no thang as the kiddies be prone to say.

also: ponies.
Yep. Yew got thet raht, sun. We alla us'ns shood be soshapathick jist lak blacklung n them thair bullies thair.
