Good grief, you keep bringing up that teen who,by himself, came to Canada as a refugee. His famiy apparently did not feel they were under the same threat & stayed in their own country. Now, have they applied to enter Canada.......NO. The son is asking on their behalf.
That is very different to what your country did, ripping babes away from nursing mothers as well as children too young to talk as yet. Worse, it seems those who were supposed to be responsible for these two thousand plus children have apparently LOST them.
So don't tell me about deflection. If you have not noticed the whole world is facing (not illegal immigration) BUT the mounting disasters facing the whole world. Those people are legal refugees, not illegal immigrants..
This may come as a shock but both Canada and the United States and most other stable countries agreed many years ago on what makes the difference between illegal immigration and refugees.

A Toronto man has lost his last-ditch effort to delay his deportation to Nigeria after a 13-year fight that ended Thursday when the Federal Court refused to hear his latest request to suspend the removal.
Jamil Ogiamien, 48, was scheduled to be escorted by two Canada Border Services Agency officers and a nurse on a charter flight to Lagos overnight Thursday after the court dismissed his request, confirmed his lawyers, Subodh Bharati and David Cote.
According to an affidavit filed with the court by the federal Justice Department, the deportation arrangement would cost taxpayers $244,766.60, plus fuel. He was booked for deportation in late February but successfully asked the court to adjourn it because he needed time to retain a lawyer.
“We are disappointed by the outcome of Mr. Ogiamien’s case. We are extremely concerned about the amount of money which the Government of Canada is spending to deport this one individual,” said Cote. “We do not understand why Canada is spending this money to charter a plane to remove an individual who is not a danger to the public. Unfortunately, this was not explained to us, the client or the court.”
(Yes- we ordinary Cdns also have grave concerns about how much it is costing- thanks to LIE-beral hug a thug judges- to get rid of this convicted CRIMINAL!)
Ogiamien was awarded $60,000 in 2016 by an Ontario judge who ruled his charter rights were violated by multiple lockdowns at a provincial jail, where he had been detained for three years awaiting deportation. The award was quashed by the Court of Appeal for Ontario last August.
(Thank God some judges have some sense! The only reason the clown is in jail is because LIE-berals refuse to swiftly deport the guy! Not in Canada means not in jail lock down either!)
According to the court decisions from Ogiamien’s previous litigation, he moved to the United States in 1980 and came to Canada in 2001. He got into trouble with the law when he was arrested for using forged documents at an Ontario driver’s licensing office.

He filed an asylum claim while he was serving a six-month jail sentence for the offence, but the claim was deemed abandoned when he was extradited to the U.S. to face charges there of forgery and identity theft. In 2005, he was deported back to Canada, which has been trying to deport him since.
(Given the PROVEN legal problems the guy already has under his belt one has to ask “WHY IN HELL ANY CDN WOULD WANT TO KEEP THIS CLOWN”? As for the $60 grand he was demanding due to “suffering” in prisons during lock downs- that is MADNESS! All the guy had to do to get out of prison was to go back to NIGERIA!!! In summer 2017 LIE-berals RELEASED SEVEN accused killers for lack of resources to give them a “fair trial” - but LIE-berals CAN find the resources to listen to this Nigerian cry baby? )

Think of the money we could save on court costs if conviction of any crime were grounds for deportation!)
In 2013, he was arrested by Peel police and charged with impaired driving, possession of marijuana, robbery and prostitution-related charges. Although he was ultimately acquitted of all of the charges in 2014, he continued to be held at Maplehurst in Milton until June 2016, when he won his lawsuit and was released on a court order.
Before his deportation, Ogiamien had been asking for months to undergo a mental health assessment and an appointment was scheduled for April, said Bharati.
(Again- we must ask: “if he is mentally ill then why do we want him”?)
“Without a thorough assessment and diagnosis, we are concerned that he will not be able to find treatment in Nigeria,” said Bharati. “There are few options for mental health care in that country and that all too often, people with such problems end up begging on the streets to survive.”

Canada, like all industrialized countries, is experiencing an aging population.
But unlike most industrialized countries, Canada is doing almost nothing to prepare for the implications of an older population, and in some cases is moving in the wrong direction.
(OH- LIE-berals are doing all that THEY consider important to prepare for the deluge of aged people! LIE-berals are carefully hiding their money offshore away from needy and greedy old folks as detailed in the Paradise Papers!)
(This issue of a rapidly aging population is also a fine reason to be enraged atLIE-beral immigration policy regarding illegals! LIE-berals are rounding up illegals as if they were crazy cat ladies corralling strays- LIE-berals have no more ability to care for their strays than a loonie cat lady! We are already facing massive pressures to care for our aged populastion and LIE-berals are busy collecting illegals with all manner of costly needs- from language training to medical aid to basic education- and they will need govt aid for decades to come- aid that will be TAKEN from people who were born here!)
There’s ample evidence that Canadians are living longer. According to Statistics Canada, average life expectancy in 2011 was 81.7 years compared to just 57.1 in 1921.
(Govt has known about this for about 65 years. In the early 1990`s Chretien LIE-berals produced a fine document that purported to show that all was well in LIE-beral land. Too bad various insurance actuaries and others shredded the document almost before the ink was dry! LIE-berals had DELIBERATELY mis-counted a LARGE array of things. Not counting the “means tests” that LIE-berals were imposing for all manner of govt grants for things like hearing aids, eye tests and an increasing array of medical procedures. Not counting for inflation- as interest rates dropped and people on fixed incomes got reduced returns on investment even as govt taxes soared. LIE-berals assured us we would inherit a fine array of goodies from deceased Boomers- and failed to account for people living longer and USING UP ALL their savings! LIE-berals also failed to take into account assorted tax hits that would take money out of peoples pockets once they were required to cash in their RRSP`s- and LIE-berals LOWERED the age maximum for cashing in RRSP`s meaning people got hit sooner and for larger amounts of tax!)
(So LIE-berals got laughed at and decided to try again to produce a report on financing for Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Supplement and that didn’t work out either! The chief accountant/actuary producing the report QUIT in mid stream- complaining that LIE-berals were trying to get him to falsify numbers and statistics! LIE-berals responded by claiming the guy had NOT quit- instead he had been fired for incompetence! Later- LIE-berals hit us with the biggest tax grab ever imposed by a Cdn federal govt- a major hike to Canada Pension Plan- which suggests LIE-berals were NOT offering the truth about pensions!)
The combination of Canadians living longer, with the population bulge of the baby boom generation, means seniors are on track to represent 25% of the Canadian population by roughly mid-century, compared to less than 15% in 2010.
As a recent Fraser Institute study noted, the aging of our population will place enormous strains on government finances.
(Actually- based on LIE-beral rationing of health care and their massive deficits deliberately run up to get civil servants the gravy needed to buy votes for LIE-berals it looks like that major strain of those old folks will fall on the kids of those aged parents. And of course LIE-berals have dabbled in legislation and court cases that force kids to tend to aged parents- in spite of past family troubles involving various types of ugly abuse! In one case from B.C. a wealthy adult had the cost of caring for an alcoholic and abusive mother dumped in his lap- Mom simply didn’t like the local old folks home and demanded that junior- whom she had not seen in decades- should be ORDERED to support his not so saintly Mom as SHE felt entitled- and LIE-berals- ever determined to shift costs and responsibility to others- agreed with Mom! IN other news Toronto Sun reporter Christina Blizzard produced a report proving that Ontari-owe education budget was rising FIFTY PERCENT FASTER than the health care budget in spite of the number of school kids shrinking and the number of seniors seeking medical aid GROWING! Shall we assume that teachers are more dedicated LIE-beral supporters than nurses or doctors? Doesn’t that sound like a LOGICAL EXPLANATION for GROSSLY BIASSED LIE-beral funding polices to you? There are more than a few hints and whispers that LIE-berals simply will NOT EVER be there for old folks- unless they are privileged members of a civil service union!)
First, several government programs that are sensitive to demographics will experience significant cost pressures.
For example, Old Age Security (OAS) and the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) are two income transfer programs supporting seniors.
The expectation is that the cost of these programs will increase by 47% between 2017 and 2047, based on a larger share of the population being eligible for such programs.
(And all this will translate into FROZEN pension benefits for seniors while LIE-beral taxes on everything SOAR!)
Similarly, health care costs are heavily influenced by seniors, since so much of our lifetime consumption of health care occurs after the age of 65.
For example, in 2014, government per person spending on health care was 4.4 times more for seniors over age 65 compared to Canadians aged 15 to 64.
(What do you suppose the health care spending is for Fentanyl drug addicts- those drug addled imbeciles who knowingly ingest POISON?)
Second, these spending increases will occur at the same time the share of the population in the labour force will decline.
Data suggests that Canada’s labour force participation rate will decline from its peak of 67.6% in 2008 to roughly 61% by mid-century.
(Considering that Ontari-owe LOST 59,000 part times jobs in the first 30 days after Wynne-bag LIE-berals bumped the minimum wage- the real rate of job loss might be even higher as labour costs will drive automation and kill even more jobs! Calculating the precise long term effect of automation and idiot LIE-beral tax and spending priorities is a difficult science and is a good reason to condemn the $50 billion dollars in debt Our idiot Boy Justin has run up in his first 2 years in office! The fiscal risk is huge in the long term and the immediate results of that mad spending are dismal! In the long term the burden will grow as we will hit the debt wall just as Chretien LIE-berals did and we will also have to pay back that borrowed money! But as Our idiot Boy wants to kill off the Cdn oil patch that is the only industry capable of rapid growth- if he allows pipelines to be built- there will be NO easy debt solution from oil patch tax revenue!)
This decline means economic growth will be slower than in previous periods, which means it will be more difficult for governments to raise revenues.
The combination of higher spending and slower growing revenues means the likelihood of much larger deficits in the future, unless programs are reformed.
A recent calculation suggested government deficits could grow as large as $143 billion (in current dollars) by 2045 if no changes are made.
(It seems entirely likely that LIE-berals simply assume they can some day declare bankruptcy and repudiate the debt- without real consequences- at least not to THEM! The rest of us MAY SUFFER HORRIBLY from such cavalier action!)
In 2012, the Harper government made a tepid reform to change the age of eligibility for Old Age Security and the Guaranteed Income Supplement to 67, starting in 2029.
The changes were to be implemented between 2023 and 2029.
Shortly after taking office, the Trudeau government reversed this reform to maintain the age of eligibility for both programs at 65.
It’s estimated this policy reversal will cost the government an additional $10.4 billion in 2030.
Perhaps more telling, a recent study illustrated how out of step this decision is with other major industrialized countries.
Of the 22 high-income countries in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), apart from Canada, more than 80% (18) are implementing some form of increase to the age of eligibility for public retirement programs.
Of the 18 countries enacting changes, almost 60% are moving to 67 years of age.
Ireland and the United Kingdom are going further by increasing the age of eligibility to 68.
(IN other words the north European countries that have the best chance to stay solvent will offer old age pension to those 68 and over. This is in sharp contrast to Greeks who expect to retire at age 57 at last report. Or Italians who expect to retire at around 60 -62!
In addition, five countries are indexing their age of eligibility for public programs, so it will automatically increase as life expectancy increases.
Canada is one of only five countries that have decided to do nothing, despite mounting evidence of the fiscal pressures coming down the pike due to the aging of our population.
The adverse consequences from an aging population, namely large deficits, mounting debt and slowing economic growth can be mitigated if proactive actions are taken now.
(LIE-berals ARE doing all they can to prepare- its apparently why they created their mouldy Green Energy program so LIE-beral pals who own solar and wind farms can have a dandy new industry to invest in and get access to that nice steady revenue stream! And its why LIE-berals sold off Hydro to their friends so THEY would have that dandy access to new investments! And it appears LIE-berals are uneasy about what we might think of their antics- how else to explain their decision to slam shut the Hydro books so we cannot see what they are doing- WITH OUR MONEY?)
Rather than ignore the problem or make matters worse, as the federal government’s policy reversal has done, it’s time for the federal and provincial governments to show leadership by proactively preparing for the aging of our population.

Want to tell us that liberal green energy is good for us? With energy costs soaring madly and natural gas plants kept constantly fueled so they can take over at a moments notice from unreliable green energy that quits on us every time the sun goes behind a cloud or that gust of wind fades? We see the truth in our Hydro bills!
You say green energy is cheaper in United States than here? Of course it is. For one thing Yankees did not sign contracts to buy green energy at rates vastly above conventional generation costs as liberals did. And Yankees did not agree to buy any and all green energy regardless of what their economy needs were without being able to shut off the flow of green energy. Liberals have agreed to buy all green energy and then must sell off the sometimes huge surplus to Yankees at prices well below what it cost to produce. We understand that green energy is therefore much cheaper in U.S. than here because they don’t have liberals making a green mess!
Want to tell us that selling Hydro is a good thing? With little mention in the news of the truth: of how only liberal friends got access to the Hydro stock? And those special friends expect to make a lot of money from their investment at our expense-and that will help the rest of us how?
That the money raised by liberals from the Hydro sale will be splashed against our provincial debt in 2018-just int time for the election for a one time balancing of the liberal budget so LIE-berals can pretend that they are good money managers when they campaign in the next election-and they will then go right back to deficit financing the following year; assuming they are still in power; because that one time Hydro money is used up and deficits and tax madness are a liberal tradition. And how does digging us MUCH deeper into debt help us-unless those who accuse Justin Trudope of being a hard core socialist are correct and that he really is trying to wreck our economy and kill off what he calls Canadian Imperialism?
Want to tell us that electric cars are good for us? If they are then why must California govt order auto makers to sell a minimum 14 percent of their fleet as electric powered or be refused a license to sell any vehicles in California? Sounds like a Soviet era 5 year economic plan and we all recall why Soviet Union went bankrupt using that command economy model. How will imitating the bankrupt Soviet model help us?
If electric cars are such a practical and useful deal then why is General Motors planning to lose $8000.00 on each Volt it sells in California? And Gm will be sticking that $8000.00 cost into the price of the gas cars we really want. Electric cars have limited range and small cargo capacity. They certainly cannot haul a boat and trailer and one ha to ask how limited the range will get if the aerodynamics of the vehicle are screwed up with bicycle racks and roof top cargo carriers. This limited range and small cargo capacity coupled with limited passenger space will hamper families trying to get to cottage or camp ground and this will help our tourist industry in what way?
Gas powered cars are far more fuel efficient than airplanes in general since it takes more power to lift something off the ground than simply to push it along the ground and of course the distance we can travel in a car is limited by the relatively slow speed of cars compered to planes-with resulting reduction in fuel consumption for a lower speed car. There is much less strain on the environment driving a car to Muskoka than there is flying a plane to Florida. How do liberals expect to help us by killing off family time in Muskoka with limited range electric cars while letting Hogs continue produce their much greater carbon foot print while flying to Florida?
May we guess that Hogs to want to kill off tourism in Muskoka is because small town Ontario routinely rejects liberal candidates at election time? And of course killing off much of the highway 400 traffic means that Hogs will have an easier time getting to their country estates and this helps ordinary people how?
If electric cars are so economical and practical to run then why does Ontari-owe govt plan to give subsidies in the $6000.00-$9000.00 range for each electric car sold here? And this is simply a preliminary guess re how much govt gravy will be needed to get any of the yet to be designed mass produced cars sold here. Tesla Motors is still wrestling with the design of an electric car with that critical combination of decent range and cargo and passenger capacity that can be build at competitive cost. The larger the car the bigger the battery and the more weight you work with so range is limited with bigger cars and that is a backward step.
The biggest challenge in building a useful electric car is achieving both good range and suitable crash test ratings. The lighter the car, the better the range but if the car is too light and fragile you risk being fried by a cracked lithium battery case after a collision. Lithium bursts into furious fire if its exposed to air so one of those 30 car pile ups on highway 400 will be a real mess. Sales of electric vehicles may be hampered if we get some live news footage of people being fried in Lithium fires inside lightly built tin cans that are crumpled up like tin foil on 400! How will ordinary people benefit from this massively costly and muddled political interference with the auto market with LIE-berals forcing inadequate technology on us?
Ordinary Cdns will be expected to supply the tax money for the electric car subsidies for the wealthy but are unlikely to be able or willing to buy such a machine for themselves and this all helps ordinary people how? And should we ask if the liberal electric car plans are on a par with the green energy garbage that the next premier of Ontario will happily curtail? Liberals themselves have cut back on new green installations and slightly reduced the tariffs for green energy due to cost but cannot admit that the liberal green policy is a disaster, but other parties will not be so shy of pointing at the total failure.
If liberals were truly concerned about the environment then why would they try to save it with their carbon cap and trade nonsense-especially when Europeans have been using the same plan for 12 years and have proven that it is nothing but a tax scam for greedy govt? How does letting organized crime bosses and unscrupulous stock traders `gaming` the carbon credit market benefit ordinary people? Or should we assume that liberals simply want creative new ways to reward their friends?
If liberals really wanted to save the environment and create jobs then why do they ignore the obvious solutions such as cutting back on mad pension offerings to civil service types? Ontario liberals owe our high school teachers something like 55 billion dollars in pension promises and liberals are wrecking our economy while trying to dig up that cash? Ordinary people are not permitted by law to have such rich pensions as civil servants enjoy and how does this gross bias help us?
If liberals truly wanted to save our environment then why not cut back on crazy salary and pension offers to civil service because such cut backs will result in less civil servants flying about. Travel by airplane is absolutely the dirtiest way to go so why not save our environment by cutting back on air travel using simple solutions that have real effect, rather than messing with cap and trade that is a proven mess?
If liberals are so genuinely dedicated to democracy then why are they throwing that proportional representation/electoral reform crap at us? And why should they rig their Mydemocracy.ca web site so badly and crudely? They are essentially asking: “do you like electoral reform or do you love electoral reform”? There is no box to answer that we think it’s a big fraud designed to rig our elections in favour of liberals? How does vote rigging help ordinary people?
If liberals are so dedicated to improving the lives of natives on reserves, then why don’t they take strong steps to curtail endemic corruption on reserves? What of the band council in eastern Canada that decided to use hard to get housing money on a Carribean cruise instead? Or the Atiwapiskat band that blew 150 million dollars of housing money on who knows what as there isn’t a single receipt nor a single new house? Or the Kashechewan band that ended up drinking its own piss after they used their budget to send a hockey team with lots of adult chaperones to California for a tournament? And then both the drinking water plant and sewage treatment plants broke down and dumped raw sewage into the river that flows through town-with the neighbours sewage showing up in town sinks every time a tap is turned on? With the band municipal repair budget blown on the hockey tournament and no money left for water plant repairs and how does such careless handling of tax money help us?
Liberals say they want to resolve native land claims but why didnt liberal prime minister Jean Chretien resolve the Ipperwash issue? After all, the concept of these land claims were created in the 1960`s by Indian Affairs minister Chretien! The liberal govt of Mackenzie King took Ipperwash area reserve land for a military base during World War 2 and never gave it back. So natives occupied a nearby provincial park in 1990`s and Dudley George got shot by OPP? How does this liberal nonsense help us?
Liberals already have a costly signed land claim deal with Alberta Lubicon natives and its worthless since it resolved nothing. Lubicons were among the very first to sign on with the new liberal land claim program and got their deal. But other Lubicons immediately showed up and demanded their own deal, claiming they were not with that first Lubicon tribe. Liberals don’t care if they are one tribe or two as they are ignoring the whole mess. Govt has the records to determine if the Lubicons are one tribe or two but don’t bother seeking this information.
Liberals don’t care if this new Lubicon group are sharp traders who want to gouge out more money than was previously agreed to or if they are people who got cheated by the main band and failed to get their fair cut from the first deal? Main Lubicon group leaders refuse to show govt their books or explain just who got what under the land deal and letting Lubicons get away with such slick double dealing and nonsense helps us how? Why not straighten out the mess and resolve it or are liberals afraid they will lose native votes with such a `tough love` approach to native messes?

In the usual LIE-beral bullsh+T word game he tells us the illegals are simply going to an alternate immigration stream!!!!!
That the "alternate stream" would not exist without LIE-berals encouraging illegals to jump the line is a fact he IGNORES!!!!

Ontario minister walks out of immigration meeting
WINNIPEG - Ontario's minister responsible for immigration has demanded an apology from federal Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen for saying the province is promoting fear about asylum seekers.
"Maybe the minister should sit down and have a nice cup of tea, calm down a little bit and maybe phone me and apologize for calling me unCanadian," Lisa MacLeod said Friday.
Federal, provincial and territorial ministers were meeting in Winnipeg to discuss immigration issues when Hussen was asked about Ontario Premier Doug Ford demanding that federal government pay millions to provide supports for asylum seekers.
Ford has said the federal government is ushering people across the border and asylum seekers, whom he calls "illegal border crossers," have caused a housing crisis in Ontario.
Hussen said the new premier's messaging is irresponsible.
"It's divisive. It's fear-mongering and it's not Canadian. It's very dangerous," Hussen said.
"Ontario sadly has chosen the language of fear. They've chosen to intentionally use language that could potentially criminalize asylum seekers in the minds of Canadians."
He added that housing issues are a shared responsibility and it's unfortunate "Ontario has chosen to step away from the table."
MacLeod said she thought the minister was acting mean-spirited towards her personally.
"His answer was directed at me to try and intimidate me," she said. "And I will not be intimidated."
Earlier in the day, MacLeod walked out of the meeting after a testy exchange with the minister. She did not sign onto the meeting's communique.
Jeremy Harrison, Saskatchewan's minister responsible for immigration, also refused to sign. In a statement, Harrison said the government of Saskatchewan expects Ottawa to handle the bill for asylum seekers.
Ontario would still like to work in partnership with the federal government, MacLeod said, but she said the province's concerns aren't being heard.
Toronto is facing $90 million in social assistance costs and $75 million in shelter costs related to asylum seekers, MacLeod said. Ottawa has promised $11 million to help.
Conservative immigration critic Michelle Rempel accused Hussen of denigrating rhetoric and name-calling. The federal Conservatives have called for an emergency meeting of the citizenship and immigration committee.

Toronto is facing $165 Million is costs and Ottawa has promised $11 Million to help. Looks like there is going to be a bit of a shortfall there. But Toronto is a Sanctuary City so they must have this all figured out.
