Yes it does!! If you cannot tell the difference between the discovery of fire for heating and cooking, and a club for swatting your neighbor over the head, then we are lucky there were many who could. It is the difference between a caveman and a spaceman.

No, it depends on how civilized and evolved one is. And actually statistics prove it is more likely one will survive being unarmed than armed in a confrontation with someone who is armed.
That has to be the most convoluted idiotic example of what you believe to be critical thought that you have posted yet...
Megahurts would be proud of you....

Tell that to the families of all the mass murders. How about the two honor guards that were murdered by a loony toons in the parliament buildings? Had they been armed one or both would still be alive.
Not so......If someone shoots another in the back, no way. Don't try to tell me those who murder, are honor bound to shoot in front!! Don't be so silly. It is about keeping guns out of the hands of those who obey no rules. Those are of course religious and/or political fanatics. Where in a nut ball's rule book does it say "Thou must always announce thine intentions and strike from the front"

Not so, everyday in this thread I see cavemen trying to excuse their beliefs with guns as though they were clubs or stones. Try to think like the snipers do. One does not expose themselves, but shoot from hidden places, and they do not aim for the front at the heart or head. They fire from whatever point gives them the advantage. Grow up!! This is not longer the world of politeness or order. Witnessing the tone of your own posts should tell you that!!

KEEP GUNS OUT OF THE HANDS OF DIMWITS, FANATICS , CRIMINALS OR MENTAL PATIENTS.

BY THE WAY LOONEY TUNES JUST ABOUT SAYS IT ALL ABOUT YOUR THINKING MENTAL ABILITY.

Do you have a link to those statistics?

Missouri 11-year-old fatally shoots 16-year-old intruder

An 11-year-old Missouri boy shot and killed a 16-year-old boy during an attempted home invasion Thursday afternoon, St. Louis County police said.

Police said two suspects tried to break into the home north of downtown St. Louis twice before the shooting on Thursday. On the third try, authorities said the unidentified teen went through the home's unlocked front door while the 11-year-old and a 4-year-old girl were home alone. Police said the younger boy shot the teen in the head. The would-be burglar's body was found in the home's front foyer.

Investigators said no one else was hurt in the incident. The second suspect fled the scene after the shooting, but was later taken into custody.

The 11-year-old's mother was being interviewed by investigators. St. Louis County police spokesman Sgt. Brian Schellman described her as cooperative with the investigation.

Fox2Now reported that police want to know why the children were home alone and why the 11-year-old had access to a gun. Police believe the mother bought the gun after prior break-in attempts.

Good thing you weren't a caveman, otherwise we'd still be eating roasted vegetables and have smaller brains. The spear. A weapon used for killing at a distance, is what put meat on the cook fires there bro'.

Well, at least there was someone with their wits about them at home.
I'm just wondering why the hell two kids were left home alone in the first place. Garbage for parents?

I'd say a lot depends on whether the mother was gone for 1/2 an hour or 6 hours. I think when I was 10 or 11 my parents felt they could leave me for an hour and I had 3 younger siblings. Of course we lived in a low crime area in the sticks.

Also depends on the legal age for babysitter in that state.
I believe my daughter was 11 when she took the babysitter's course, but that was a loonng time ago....

What ticks me off when it comes to firearms is, the same group of idiots that tell us we shouldn't judge all muslims by the actions of a few bungholes, have no problem judging all firearm owners by the actions of a few bungholes.

So the obvious solution to make everybody happy is to disarm the Muzzies.

There, problem solved. Next?
