If anyone is a decrepit imbecile it's you...…………….I know what a jersey is Asshole, I have 3 kids who were all involved in team sports, but the term "shirt" or "sweater" can be used interchangeably. Smarten up!

I would say jersey and sweater would be interchangeable.

Not the same thing.

Shirt and top would would be interchangeable.

But shirt and jersey are not.
