Here’s something Mayor John Tory and city council should really be concerned about.
Homicides and shootings in Toronto are significantly up in the three years since police ended carding and disbanded the Toronto Anti-Violence Intervention Strategy (TAVIS).
Since then, as reported by the Toronto Sun’s Chris Doucette in Monday’s Sun, there have been an average of 10 more gun murders per year in Toronto.
As of Sept. 2, there have been 285 shooting occurrences this year, up 130% from the 124 shootings that occurred up to this point in 2014.
Similarly, there have been 378 shooting victims so far this year, up 149% from the 152 shooting victims reported at this point in 2014.
(Carding is a useful tool for heading off future criminal trouble! For instance- cops know very well that some inhabitants of TCHC housing are criminals dealing in drugs and etc- since TCHC authorities REFUSE to evict criminals- so keeping tabs on who comes and goes from such places ought to be useful!)
(Carding is rather intrusive- I can say this with certainty since I have been carded several times. It is also a good way to keep tabs on gang bangers who are scouting possible ambush sites for shooting their enemies! But our LIE-beral hug a thug leaders fear the wrath of Black Lives Matter more than they fear ordinary Cdns!)
While correlation isn’t automatically evidence of causation — because two things occur simultaneously doesn’t always mean one caused the other — rank-and-file police officers told Doucette it’s clear to them that scrapping TAVIS and carding are two of the main causes of Toronto’s surge in gun violence.
(Toronto Red Star did an article a few years back as carding was phased out- and noted how “eerily quiet” our Old City Hall Youth Courts had become! Star writers were clearly torn as to whether to celebrate the end of what they saw as cop carding “discrimination” - or to fuss over the kids who now would be free of cop interference long enough to get into REAL SERIOUS TROUBLE!)
(Getting nabbed for carrying a concealed weapon is not nearly so serious as getting caught for USING that weapon! Oh the mental anguish that weighing various LIE-beral values brings!)
If the mayor and councillors — meaning those who succeed in retaining their jobs in the Oct. 22 municipal elections — have an alternative explanation for why gun-related murders and gun crime are up since carding and TAVIS were ended, let’s hear them.
(LIE-berals have been telling us for years now that crime rates are falling and there is no need for concern! Their LIES are exposed! Constant plea bargaining that makes major crimes into minor ones and makes minor crimes disappear entirely is a key source of the problem!)
(In addition the LIE-beral addiction to “concurrent sentences” means that although you may have committed a series of crimes- and get 5 years for one offense, 3 years for another and 2 years for a third criminal act- you are STILL ONLY looking at a maximum of 5 years in jail because all three sentences will be served “concurrently” - meaning at the same time! Yes- 3 crimes committed, 3 sentences issued - but only one ass in jail- and that equals DELIBERATELY FORGETTING two out of three crimes!)
While they have approved other measures to combat violent urban street crime, neither Tory nor council is talking about bringing back TAVIS or carding.
Why not?
(LIE-berals DO NOT want to act against crime because it would lose them votes! Acting to deal with crime in an effective way would reveal to the public what an unmitigated disaster all LIE-beral immigration policy and multi culturalism has been! LIE-berals DO NOT wish to round up and charge criminals because it would reveal how poorly too many LIE-beral selected immigrants and their children are integrating in our society! People who equate success in school with selling out to white people will NEVER find a good place in our grossly indebted and over taxed society!)
(LIE-berals DO NOT want to publicly admit that their love of “diversity” is producing a generation of vicious, predatory kids- from various minority groups- who all hate white society and the rule of law!)
Carding, also known as street checks, was scrapped because of concerns police were disproportionately targeting racial minorities.
But without a workable street check policy — one that protects the rights of minorities, while allowing police to do the most important job they have, which is intelligence-gathering — the police can’t do their jobs as effectively as possible.
(Oh that kind of talk would open up a REAL BIG CAN- of WORMS! A now retired cop committed a crime a couple of decades back- the guy went through the mug shots and simply counted up the number of non white faces in the photos- and publicly told us that blacks made up 13 percent of the Toronto population but that blacks committed 86 percent of the crime in Toronto!)
(If cops are to avoid being accused of harassing blacks then it needs to be proven that blacks are disproportionately COMMITTING crimes and are thus WORTHY of so much cop attention! And LIE-berals WILL NOT tolerate such actions that results in condemnation of their LAX immigration policy!)
It’s time for our politicians at Queen’s Park and at City Hall, whoever is there following the fall municipal election as well as any new faces on council, to address this issue, rather than pretend it doesn’t exist.
Because all indications are that lives are being lost unnecessarily because of it.
(Hypocrisy is the order of the day for our LIE-beral politicians! Their focus is on saving their seats on the gravy train while black kids must look after their own asses!)
Really , provide the figures , there must be a line item on some budget somewhere . Poor little George .

Alleged Crips street gang member Jerome Pantlitz-Solomon, 20, of Mississauga -- seen in an online rap video -- was arrested on gun and drug charges in Wasaga Beach on Sept. 12, 2018.
BARRIE – An alleged cocaine trafficker receives $1,000 a month from the Children’s Aid Society in a so-called extended care program, a court has heard.
Jerome Pantlitz-Solomon, 20, of Mississauga — an alleged member of the Crips street gang — faces drugs and weapons charges after police say he was arrested with a loaded hand gun, cocaine and cash while making drug transactions at Wasaga Beach on Sept. 12. He’s also charged with fleeing the scene of a car crash with two bags of cocaine at Wasaga Beach June 18.
(So this clown is not so much an ALLEGED criminal- he is merely one who has not yet been SENTENCED?)
Last month, Pantlitz-Solomon’s identical twin brother Jason was gunned down in downtown Windsor in what police are calling a gang-related killing.
(Oh- it’s a FAMILY drug Biz! Isnt it nice the LIE-berals are so generous to families- even if they are CRIME FAMILIES! And one has to ask “how many more of these so called extended care deals have LIE-berals set up? Want to BET LIE-berals consider that NOT to be any business of ours?)
During a special bail hearing held Friday night, Pantlitz-Solomon’s mother, father and grandmother made a bid for his release to live at home under strict conditions, but Crown Julie Janiuk argued the community would be “outraged.”
The Crown noted last month that Pantlitz-Solomon, who’s also a rapper, was already on bail for assault when police got a search warrant to enter his bedroom and found a safe with $6,700 cash and small plastic drug packaging bags.
“That was drug money,” the Crown alleged.
“No that wasn’t drug money,” his mother, Alicia Pantlitz insisted on the witness stand. “It was probably his CAS money … he doesn’t like to put his money in the bank because of bank charges.”
(If the guy can bank nearly seven months worth of CAS payments- then he clearly does NOT NEED our money!)
(And- if the guy has a Children`s Aid Society account then WHY are his PARENTS not supporting this clown? And how stupid do the parents think we are anyway- with that “its not drug money, its govt money” garbage?)
(Considering LIE-berals bought into the family sob story and issued cheques- I guess they think we are REALLY “STOOPID”!)
The parents explained Pantlitz-Solomon was a ward of CAS since he was around 15 and now gets $1,000 a month on an “extended care program,” by the CAS “to help him get grounded.”
(Oh yes- nothing like FREE MONEY from govt to ground a kid! And isnt it nice he INVESTED his govt money in that free enterprise/drug dealing thing! Who says kids have no initiative any more?)
The Crown argued that aside from the CAS money, Pantlitz-Solomon is hauling in drug cash.
“This mother is either not telling the truth, or she is willfully blind,” Janiuk told the court.
(Oh yeah- it’s a kind of blindness that NO GLASSES could ever cure! I recall a case some years back when another enterprising kid BRICKED UP part of his parents TCHC townhouse basement to make a false room for his drug supply- and the parents claimed NEVER to have noticed a thing!)
In court Janiuk played a youtube video showing the accused performing a rap under the name of J Solo. The video shows an angry Pantlitz-Solomon rapping about killing, “fire in the gut, bang, bang, bang,” while he and his friends make trigger gestures.
(Well that`s nice- the kid is expressing himself! Too bad the message is a public insult!)
Justice of the Peace Ann Forfar will announce her bail decision later this week.
(Bail......damned if you do and damned if you don’t offer it! If the kid is held without bail then he gets THREE TIMES CREDIT for time served until the trial- and thank you LIE-berals for that Big bag of fresh ripe, organic, straight from the back of the Bull, politically motivated FERTILIZER!!!!!)
(On the other hand- if the kid is released into his parents “custody” then the ENTIRE family- and their pals- all comes to the conclusion our legal system is a SAD JOKE!!!!!!! And thank you LIE-berals for that crap as well!)

The point I made- which you apparently DO NOT UNDERSTAND- is that it took so long to repair the line because ALL our levels of govt are STONY BROKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Before the line could be repaired, there had to be a political dog fight to see who would carry the most blame if the rail line never re-opened!
Then there had to be a SECOND POLITICAL DOG FIGHT - to see which levels of govt would kick in their borrowed cash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As I said previously- the Churchill rail line ran into the same sort of problems as is faced by anybody who wants to build new transit in Toronto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The HOGS at Toronto Silly Hall are still deep in the dog fight over who will pay and what will be built!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Toronto commuters are not like Manitoba grain farmers- stuck with a single option- so expect the Toronto transit Dog Fight to go on for a LONG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do they know how to cross a swamp yet? If not there will be another failure and send the bill to the nations.
I assume they have the right of way and the water rights.
Make a deal with the power company that allows them to run their transmission lines above the trains and use the 'wider than normal' pad the rail uses to anchor the tower to the solid ground under the swamp.
So far any contracts where the Government is in control it seems to be about making some companies a lot richer and the lives of the Indians stays as shitty as ever.
