The reason for the drop in murder rates is demographics. Less young men means less murder.
That simple.
The point is the rise in the number of firearms has NOT raised murder rates. There is no evidence it has had any effect at all.
This data proves shows that it is not a driving factor. If you are insistent that it is a driving factor, then explain to me why it isn't a negative driving factor.
People who make up their minds they are going to kill, are going toi kill, the means is secondary. If a gun isn't handy a bomb will work.
