What's next?? Wedding planners will see a rise in business and client numbers?? Honeymoom packages will increase. (not sure about cruises though , as that fantasy is undergoing some serious reality checks
More divorces for the divorce lawyers to look forward. Who says marriage is not a profit making factor in society.
Then the gay contingency will be part of mainstream marriages , have kids. and all will reach a new equalibrium.
In time (not much either ......unless the religious fanatics continue to play obstructionists ) it will hardly be a ripple in the gossip section.....of who did what to whom & when ??

I like Newt Gingrich's logic myself. He says homosexuality is wrong because the Bible says so, so gays shouldn't be allowed to marry. The Bible also says adultery is punishable by death, by stoning. But that's Old Testament stuff, Jesus changed the rules, right? Right. Jesus added that anyone who divorces and remarries is guilty of adultery.

I'm curious as to why it upsets you. I think if that Rottie didn't like it it would rip his face off right quick (and a few other choice parts, I'm sure). Is it a whole lot different than humping goats or sheep? Men have been doing that since we domesticated animals. Some heterosexuals like whips and chains too, so, although it ain't my bag, it is not something I give any thought. What some people call sexual deviancy is normal human behaviour. Even those who protest loudly are some of the most deviant.

neither can verbally consent, but most people don't verbally consent. an animal could sort of show consent by doing something like rubbing against the human or not backing away. but a child could be seen as sexually teasing an adult or not backing away when they're being molested. that does not mean the child is consenting.
perhaps the difference is development? an animal would most likely be fully developed at the time of “the act”. but a human child is still just a child.
an adult animal does have sexual urges, a child does not.
but neither could understand whats happening as well as the adult human.

folks like Newt make a mockery of the bible, and yet claims that those are the rules to live by. The word hypocracy does not begin to address these silly idiots. ( yes, idiots is a strong word......but very fitting for these hypocrits. ) It is astounding to see that they still have influence on so many. Seems that society's biggest problem is getting the sheeple mentality enlightened . into the reality of modern times and advancement.
Seems every time there is a major inflamatory controversy.......it involves some religious fanaticism and belief. Would it not be better to debate truths and scientific advances and knowledge???

The thread title mentions homosexuality, so do a few posters, it seemed relevant. Same logic, the OT specifies death for screwing the pooch too, including the pooch, and I don't recall Jesus saying anything about it. You don't forbid things people aren't doing, so clearly it was happening in Old Testament times too. It seems a little perverse to me, but people have sexual responses to all kinds of things, animate, inanimate, and other: dogs, sheep, goats, and other livestock, snakes, leather, fur, shoes, vibrators, whips, chains, pain, verbal and physical abuse, dolls, underwear, pornographic images and videos... who's to say what's normal? One thing seems clear, human sexuality has a significant experimental component.
Necrophilia is not prohibited by any verse in the bible...again, it's only ok if it's not same sex necrophilia though...
Actually, Leviticus forbids sodomy, but there is no biblical prohibition against lesbian acts. St Paul's epistles refer to 'female abnormal acts'.
As to the animals, avoid sex with cats of any size and species...
