Egypt has erupted into chaos as Conservatives order out the guns. The Egyptian dictator, supported by Conservative western countries. primarily the US is now trying to crush the public who demanded his removal.
A large young population facing high unemployment and an ever-widening gap between a fabulously wealthy small Conservative elite, a shrinking middle class and growing numbers of the destitute rebelled against the increasingly repressive and corrupt police forces.
These people...these public citizens...are crying out for fairness, some opportunity ...a more equitable sharing of the national wealth. And as is normal under Conservative regimes the answer is not one of fairness and sharing...but one of violence and repression.
Check it out folks....the most stable, secure, peaceful and happy populations are in countries with the least amount of income inequality.
DUH! When people share, everyone gets more than enough and there's no need for crime. Instead of competition, cooperation,...instead of despair, sufficiency, ... instead of enemies, friends.
The Conservative choice is to cut taxes for the wealthy and have a shrinking middle class foot the bill for increased police forces to control an escalating level of desperation. A recipe for chaos and violence.
Conservatives are a crafty lot of thieves....they know their actions will lead to social unrest so here in Canada they are against the gun registry ...they want to arm themselves to the teeth without anybody looking....the same right-wingnuts in the US back the Tea Party and the NRA.
Conservative, capitalist NATO countries have learned to export their unemployed excess young men, (the primary movers in the demand for reform in Egypt and elsewhere). WE EXPORT OUR SONS TO FOREIGN WARS...while at the same time subsidizing our armaments industry. (see previous post...Is War good?)
Conservatives consider it better to have those young men killing people in far off corners, than demanding social reform at home.
Wake up Canadians! Cairo is not far from Canada...We can choose differently.
