The French use nuclear ... almost exclusively ... those lefties.
When did France start making nuclear autos?

No it won't. All it will do is raise the price of fuel in France and make their industry less competitive.

You have to be careful - the stupid people who consider themselves environmentalists believe that nuclear power is the wave of the clean powered future. Too bad that they don't know that nuclear power plant waste has to be isolated from all human contact for a hundred thousand years and presently the French have generated some 23,000 tonnes of it.

Presently it is sitting around in "safe" sites but they are looking for areas where they can bury it in the ground. Preferably around small villages that don't have much voting power.

They are just pissed that the US hasn't donated the billions they have donated at the sole expense of the taxpayers who could have used the money to feed the poor.

You make nuclear autos by generating electricity using nuclear fission to boil water to turn turbines to generate electrical current. You then plug electric cars into the output from the turbines and charge their batteries so that they can power electric motors in cars.

It's the future ....

... for everyone except for the perrenially backward Americans. They'll be shovelling coal into boilers in their cars 'cause it'll make Merica great agin!

I've noticed over the years that a good number of anti oil activists are nothing but shills for the nuclear industry. Lately there are quite a few that are shilling for the taxpayer subsidized solar and wind power. SHould make the blowhards stand in front of a windmill when they speak.

Coal is both cleaner and safer.

Maybe you didn't read the other articles - it costs more to make the electric batteries than they save in their lifespans which despite lies of the liberals are only about five years. I am and engineer and have spoken to the battery designers and have been told that the recharging falls below 75% by 5 years. And much sooner if they are overcharged.

And of course with the spectacular knowledge that you've shown everywhere else in these groups you don't know what modern coal fired power plants don't dump soot into the air.

Canada gains most of it's power from hydroelectric power which causes large and widespread environmental damage. They also have large amounts of nuclear power plants with the exact same problem they have in France - extremely dangerous nuclear waste that they generally store on-site of these nuclear generation plants until the waste gets so large that they are forced to decommission the plants. This waste is so dangerous that it is even dangerous to transport it but they are doing that anyway through areas that could easily be more or less permanently damaged by radioactive waste that is dangerous for around 100,000 years.

But never let it be said that Curious Cdn wants to actually know anything about what he talks about.

You should ask him about the sea battles he was in against the Soviets while in the 1970's Canadian Navy.

This should have been clear to the "environmentalists" from the very beginning. The staggering amount of environmental damage that the hydroelectric plants have caused should knock any of these supporters out of the ball-park. And the lack of any method to safely store nuclear wastes is another.

We are very close to being able to build nuclear power plants that do not generate wastes with a long radioactive life but by this time the environmentalists are fighting those.

Coal power plants don't generate as much CO2 each year as the forest fires that rage across the nation most of which are started by things like car collisions and campfires improperly tended. The adzes that are crying the most about coal power are the ones generating more CO2 than these same plants.

Not that it matters since CO2 only improves plant growth and has no effect on climate. You'd think that anyone that discovered that CO2 is a "TRACE GAS" would be able to figure that out for themselves. 78% of the atmosphere is nitrogen, 21% is oxygen, 0.66% is argon and CO2 is only 400 parts per million. What sort of sucker would fall for the idea that CO2 controls anything other than increasing photosynthesis in plants?

You should ask him about the sea battles he was in against the Soviets while in the 1970's Canadian Navy.

Maybe he was in the Canadian Air Force and flew on missions next to us in B52's.

Seems like every dumbadze in the world thinks that somehow the US is the only one not in on the Paris accords. In fact the US was about the ONLY one on the accords but leave it to the brain dead to not know the first thing about what they shout about. The only good liberal is a dead liberal.

Apparently there are a few other dumb-asses who think that the US has a lot of friends in its rejection of the Paris Accord. Well, it has if you think two is a lot.

195 countries signed Paris climate agreement, 2 oppose it. For now.

Were you one of those star spangled USAF pilots that flew over Vietnam? ... you know, the ones who were completely defeated and forced to abandon Indochina by Viet, Laotian and Khmer peasants?

Can you tell us about your battles on the high seas against the Soviets while you were in the Canadian Navy?

When are you going to post something that actually makes sense?
