I heard some idiots really trashed a Starbucks. If I was a judge in their court I'd sentence them to a lifetime ban from Starbucks and Tim Hortons. Watch them bitch about that too.

The Protesters hiding their faces destroying public and private property are criminals and should be treated as such..

My feelings are mixed on this one. I agree protest is part of democracy and there should always be voices opposed and heard. When you have this many world leaders you need tight security. The people who did the damage and behaved
like morons, I hope they get theirs To bad the police can't use live bullets on the
ones who do damage

Totally amazing that most of you are falling for the BS propaganda that is being spoon fed you by the media. Of course there is going to be violence. How else can this gang of thugs, the G20, legitimize their actions. All those mindless protesters protesting for the sake of being violent. What trash. Have any of you ever been to a protest? I can assure you that 99% of any violence will be instigated by plants and/or the police themselves. Why? Because they need to discredit any legitimate protest against what they are doing. Have any of you actually heard what they are protesting about from the media? I don't think you are going to hear the truth because those who own the media have a vested interest in keeping you ignorant of the facts.

You don’t know that, Cliffy. Governments have been known to do that, to use provocateurs. However, until it is proved, the default position has to be that the vandals, hooligans were out on a mindless rampage.

As to press not discussing what the protesters are protesting about, do you blame them? Rioting, destruction of the property is a much spicier, juicier story than what they are protesting about.

The rioting makes sure that what the protesters are protesting about is never discussed. Protesters have shot themselves in the foot.

Nothing wrong with protesting but there is everything wrong with threatening public safety and destroying public property and that's where the line has to be drawn. Suggestions that Harper or the cops had anything to do with it just aren't valid as we have enough morons in the country who are quite willing to do it. As far as I'm concerned the best way to stop these guys is good heart shot with a .303.

And precisely why provocateurs are used to discredit protesters. The protesters didn't shoot themselves in the foot, provocateurs have. Do you really think that people are that stupid that they do not know what the results of rampages are? The only ones who benefit from this kind of violence is the government. This will just bring about the cry from people who believe this BS for a crackdown on protesters. This brings us closer to a police state and the NWO.

It seems to me that most of the people on this thread, at least, are more than willing to support this fascist state, which is just what the media and their owners are hoping for. You have all been manipulated to give up your freedoms and that is very sad indeed.

I did hear the media discussing the legitimate protest groups.

However, guys that run around smashing windows and burning police cars don't deserve any consideration.

No they don't, but do you think you will ever find out who hired them?

All the world is a stage....If there was no media at every corner there wouldn't be a rioters acting up for the cameras on every corner.

Anybody who turns on the tube to watch the news coverage of riots is just as guilty as the rioter. The news makes money off you watching riots.

Simple huh?
