Ridiculous on several levels.
First of all I wasn't talking about people who already live here. That's a closed issue and something we have to live with.
Secondly we have every right to decide who is given the opportunity to become a Canadian and who does not.
There is no reason we should willingly exacerbate an already identified problem.
If you start practicing religious discrimination, it would be unwise to assume that "thus, and no more" is all you'll ever do. Exclusion breeds exclusion, discrimination breeds discrimination, hate breeds hate.
You really need to define your problem.

This past weekend, Cosby penned an op-ed for The New York Post in which he detailed some of the flaws in modern society. He also suggested we should take a page out of the Koran if we want to have healthier families, less crime and more productive people.

I’m a Christian. But Muslims are misunderstood. Intentionally misunderstood. We should all be more like them. They make sense, especially with their children. There is no other group like the Black Muslims, who put so much effort into teaching children the right things, they don’t smoke, they don’t drink or overindulge in alcohol, they protect their women, they command respect. And what do these other people do?
They complain about them, they criticize them. We’d be a better world if we emulated them. We don’t have to become black Muslims, but we can embrace the things that work.

No it is not- Identify the problems areas- it is in the screening- monitor those schools that teach hatred and fail to follow the Provincial curriculum and Human Rights Laws.
include mandatory teaching of explaining a persons rights in Canada. From religion to not, sexual orientation and so on.
Make it easier to deport any who are involved with teaching, grooming this type of behavior.
Now that I am done with Christians I will say the same for any other person who immigrates here.

You are right; Christian schools must be monitored to verify they teach equality, tolerance, and science (not new earth creationist crap) . Same with Moslems , Jews, and Wiccans.

I once posted on a right wing wiccan website and the response I got was nothing but bigotry and hate. Then I told that to the right wing Focus On the Family website and they said that's because they are actually a cult. If all wiccans are like that then I'd have to agree.

The incident, which occured in the town just outside of Manchester, has led to a number of groups calling for a 'march' or 'rally' in the town this coming Saturday, with the English Defence League quickly setting up an 'Ashton-Under-Lyne' branch of the group.
The video, which has been removed from YouTube but can still be found on LiveLeak, describes the incident last night as, "This is a video that has been taken in Ashton Under Lyne, England that shows a gang of Muslim youths attacking a group of white kids. Just before the filming had started one of the muslim youths had punched one of the white girls in the face. This is becoming a regular occurence on the streets of the UK."
