It is true that FGM did not originate with Islam, but it is by far most popular in Muslim countries. Mr Aslan claims the highest rates of FGM are in Christian countries, like Eritrea (89%), and Ethiopia (74%). Look at 1:40 on the vid, he makes the claim just after the 2:00 mark, where he claims "...no where else in Muslim majority countries is FGM an issue....".

I guess he never heard of Somalia (98%), Guinea (96%), Djibouti (93%), or EGYPT (91%)...........to say nothing of the fact the vast majority of FGM are performed on Muslim girls.........figures from UNICEF btw........

It also show how the West loved to find tidbits that make the Muslims look bad while we let the Priests who molest our children over decades with impunity from prosecution for generations. The only time they see the Courts is after they have died a natural death. That would be a good enouigh reason for Muslims to keep the Christian West at arms length. Their desire to take war to the women and kids rather than soilder against soldier also show they are somewhat of a basic bully, and they never last long.

Even when alleged Priest molestation are half of the average? I'd say we need more Priests in our society to lower the stats.

Pedophiles always look for careers/jobs that give them access to children. The smarter ones choose careers that give them authority over children. Statistically speaking there are plenty of Imam or Ayatollah pedo's.
