Bout what I'd expect from any religious person. In my experience, which religion it is don't matter much.
Islamists are different from other religions and people who don't understand that are being extremely naïve. Other religions are waaayyy more tolerant of differences by far, even when they say hateful things. Islam is NOT the same and cannot be compared to other religions. I would even go so far as not even calling it a religion but a "cult" that is extremist, hate mongering and evil.... Note, that I said Islamists and by that I mean the extremists. Not all Muslims are extremists. But we should not take the extremists lightly for while there may be some religions who speak of evil things, Islamists not only speak of evil but commit evil acts without hesitation. My fear is that most of the Western world do not take them seriously enough which could "bite us in the ***" (to put it bluntly, if we're not careful.
Exactly - and yes there are moderately mild muslims wanting peace, who sift through the Koran and Hadith law for peace, but many seem to have sufficient archaic laws intertwined with their culture - religion, govt, family tradition that makes one cautious about it being "JUST" a religion. And anyone who turns a blind eye to those advocating Sharia law in Canada or elsewhere has not studied in depth.
