Having been born in 79 I really didn't know or care who Farrah Fawcett was. But, the poster, the hair, these are things that carried down through the decades despite the fact that I can't recall ever having seen her acting. Her battle was a brutal one, and I feel sorry for her that it came to this.

Or you guys could just read and realize he's on a time out and you're just further highjacking a thread the mod has already dealt with.

I wasn't aware that gerryh had be given a time out... But to whom it may concern, I've watched this guy on other forums get tossed repeatedly for his foul mouth and somehow he manages to get back. I hope he got more than a week this time.

or continue highjacking it and posting personal attacks in inappropriate places. Have fun, but don't expect that you won't get reported too.

A threat karrie ?

Please..

I asked that foul language not be used.

I would hope that personal attacks not happen. We are all big people here and can take a shot or two but when it goes on for a while it seems no one cares or takes notices.

I never said someone could not express personal opinion on a topic, even if they did not agree with the OP.

IF I EVER GET OUT OF HAND, please don't hesitate to have me banned FOREVER..

I just spent 4 weeks away from this Forum because I thought what was happening was not worth my time.. It seemed to settle down and more people were coming back. DO you NOT see what happens here when these personal attack and foul language goes on ?

personal attacks against someone who isn't here to defend themselves is exactly what's going on Francis. It's low.

I'll support the mods' decision, but, hacking on someone who's no longer here, I won't support that. Don't try to tell me I have to.

SC is there for personal wars. You're highjacking a thread over an issue that's been dealt with, and beating on an absent poster. It's sad.

So - gerryh comes onto a thread and completely riles up a lot of folks. We re-act to it and then we are the ones who hi-jack it? What kind of reasoning is that? Do you truly believe that for myself and several others who felt that it was extremely in-appropriate for him to say she was ugly and should have died a long time ago, we are launching personal attacks against him! I know you are talking to me but I am not the only person who had very negative things to say on this thread. Have fun! Fun with what? It's neither fun to attack or be attacked. It's not fun to read foul language. Take a look at the posters here. Most are people born long before you and others who accept that language as a part of everyday life. My youngest son is in his 30's and he certainly knows who Farrah Fawcett was.
Why should I expect to get reported. I don't make it my mission to cause trouble or call people names. I will make it my mission to have such a person banned.

The life of "Charlie's Angels" star Farrah Fawcett was celebrated Tuesday at a private, music-filled funeral that one participant called "stirring." Her longtime companion, actor Ryan O'Neal, was among the pallbearers who accompanied the casket, covered in yellow and orange flowers, into the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.
After the ceremony, mourners said they overheard O'Neal as he tapped on the hearse's back door and said, "So long, babe."
Fawcett's friend Alana Stewart and "Charlie's Angels" co-star Kate Jackson were among the early arrivals before the hearse pulled up, accompanied by 10 motorcycle officers.

So, why did she and O'Neal never marry? Anyone know?
I read an article about that when she died. It stated that he asked her over and over. Apparently she finally said yes when she knew she was dying. The article said they had a death bed marriage but then the rest of it did not actually seem to indicate that the marriage had occurred. I guess at some point, or maybe even now, if it did, it will be on one of her sites on line.

It would be a good idea to pay attention to the message vanIsle is trying to convey, she speaks for many.

Gh's posts got him banned?

You've got to be kidding!!!???

Some people need to take off the hypocrite hat sometime. Seriously.

If people can mouth of about MJ, then others can mouth off about Farrah.

Seriously people, get help, get a life and get fixed, you need to be removed from the gene puddle.

Mouthing off is just _____. Mouthing off just to diss one because somebody mouthed off about the other is a lot like punishing dog because the cat scratched you. Then again, if the sensitivity level isn't high enough for adult forums, maybe they of sensitive feeling should stay out of adult forums.

I concur.

But tit for tat is not really a bannable offense. He is free to feel and spout off adnuseum, you and I both served to give him that right. No matter the motivation.

Neither one of us added a caveat to the oath.

I think I'll stick with speaking for myself thanks.

Absolutely nothing wrong with speaking for oneself, it's when one quits listening to others when problems can start. Some people don't seem to realize there are TWO sides to a conversation, talking and listening.

He's making people look at their hypocrisies, people don't like that, they attack the one that points it out. Instead of admitting they may have a personal error.

We all have them. I have more respect for someone that admits them.

I've read dozen of gerry's threads and often as not they are insulting and laced with filthy language- why would anyone with any self respect LISTEN to that crap? Time he was gone permanently (I even sent him a p.m. predicting he may be gone)

Sure, if you don't like the opinion or the manner in which its delivered, feel free to have him banned.

Simply ignoring him certainly wouldn't occur to anyone, would it?
