I will not celebrate a corporation called Canada inc. where all of its "citizens" are nothing but chattel of the corporation and are enslaved by dept. This corporation was built on the blood of our indigenous peoples and they are still treated as 3rd class citizens, their children are still being stolen by government ministries and put into "white" homes which, by the definition of the UN human rights commission, is genocide.

The program was to travel from place to place and defeat and conquer all they encountered and often it was with better weapons and greater numbers. The Indians in the past generation or two have not been treated all that badly as far as material things go. The Catholic schools were a disgrace and sadly there are still victims of them, but in reality we have to move on.

I`m pretty fuzzy on that one, Walter- I have a vague feeling it was what Canada became after the Statute of Westminster about 1931. I know back in the day the State of Virginia was known as the ``Old Dominion``. It definitely has an aura of importance about it!
