Canada should cut off all lumber exports to the USA for 3 months..

When housing prices soar, construction job wither and the USA economy starts to tank... MAGA..
We should definitely put all our forestry workers out of work for 4 months . Good idea . Truckers heaven , no trucks on the road .

Trumps head is made of soft wood lumber, it has good insulation value and it will take a nail ok.

The best bet is to neither buy anything nor sell anything to Trump. In about two weeks he'll amend it. I think the whole charade is probably just a ploy anyway! :)

China is already in contact with the Canadian lumber industry stating they are interested in filling the gap caused by the US Tariff plan. There may be a happy ending to this story?

The fact that they import crude and upgrade it is not material to the bottom line here. The USA is a net exporter of oil derivatives to many nations, including Canada.

PS - There is only a handful of Western nations that maintain a nationalized oil industry and in most cases, they rely on outside investment in order to operate thereby undermining the very nature of your argument.
coldstream will deny facts that don't agree with his fascist worldview with his dying breath.

This wake up call was good for Canada.. it made us realize we can't be copacetic and rely on our trade with the USA anymore..

But I really wish they would push through the Energy East pipeline and build more refineries here in Canada..

Oh and did I mention... Fukk The USA!!

Canada has been no boy scout either... Just 'cause Trump has decided to get involved directly doesn't mean that things are any different under any of the former Prime Ministers or Presidents
Of course not. Y'all been. . . Mounties!

B.C. Liberal Leader Christy Clark retaliated against the United States on Wednesday for its penalties on Canadian softwood lumber by proposing a ban on U.S. thermal coal from B.C.’s ports.

Clark, acting as premier during the middle of an election, wrote to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to encourage the ban. B.C.’s ports fall under federal responsibility, so it would ultimately be Ottawa’s decision, though Liberal officials insisted the province could enact some type of unspecified levy on coal shipments as well.

Red Coat, a unique western starring Fabio Testi as a member of the Canadian Royal Mounted Police. A different role for him & a very rare winter western. A TV rip from a lousy 35mm transfer for your viewing displeasure.

Love Canadian Movies about Mounties, we were Friends with the Native Americans.. vs American TV Westerns portraying Natives as savages, the enemy.
