I would love to know when Trump is adding Tariffs and duties to Canadian goods, and killing Canadian Jobs how these Canadians For Trump fan clubs can live with themselves.

Traitors.

I know this is way over your head but Trump is going to cure a great many of the problems with government in the US. Wether he does it by himself(doubtful) or more probably both sides are going to hate him so much that they will actually work together to do what government is supposed to do. Namely look after taxpayers interests. So you might say that Trump is saving the people from themselves.

The Great American Empire is coming to an end. Trump will speed up it's demise, most likely. He's just turned his back on the Americans who elected him. He is diverting trillions of dollars to the filthy rich and, again, what's left of the Middle Class will have to pay even more to keep their country going.

It wasn't the Chinese, the Mexicans, the Canadians who destroyed the American Middle Class. It was Reaganomics, echoed by Dubya and now by Trump. The Ammerican dream is going, going, gone. Look elsewhere in the world for the future.

No it's not...don't be dumb.

In fact, I want the Americans to succeed as our ally.

Whom else do you have in mind as world leaders?

I didn't say that I want another one but the Americans are morally spent and inordinately self-destructive. There really is no hope of Trump is what they think will save them He'll wring them out.

I respectfully disagree. They are a good friend and we should support them even though a buffoon won, it is part of the pain of moving forward for them.....and perhaps us.

Growing pains.

You're dreaming. Nothing trickled down before. Nothing will trickle down this time. The fate of American democracy is inextricably tied to that of the Middle Class and the Middle Class is dying. Their jobs are going to automation, mostly overseas and with nothing to replace them. The American Extremely Rich receive more and more of the nation's resources but put back far less than they receive.

The US is broken. It's the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1913.

Taxpayer interests like job creation. Cutting red tape. Cutting the fat from government. Maybe setting up an amusement park on the white house lawn.

He hasn't done any of that. He has made it easier for his rich pals to buy up land and use bank money as they want while not having to worry about polluting. Nothing has been done for those in middle class, funding taken from those who need it, resources removed at a time where he and the other really unstable fatboy kim have been having a pissing contest. Poverty is a great motivator for enlistment. Free education if you give over your life and mental health and maybe become homeless and drug addicted.

Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue, and others huddled in meetings with Trump, urging him not to sign a document triggering a U.S. withdrawal from NAFTA. Perdue even brought along a prop to the Oval Office: a map of the United States that illustrated the areas that would be hardest hit, particularly from agriculture and manufacturing losses, and highlighting that many of those states and counties were “Trump country” communities that had voted for the president last November.

Turns out the people in his own Government put the screws to Trump to not cancel the NAFTA Agreement.

The GOP has been pro NAFTA since Day 1. The American Left and the Alt-Reich don't like it and think that the furriners are trying to grab stuff from good, ole Mericans.

Hundreds of Quebec forestry workers are experiencing the first sour tastes from the softwood lumber battle with the United States as they prepare for the start of layoffs.

Starting Monday, Resolute Forest Products is cutting shifts at seven sawmills and delaying the start of forest operations that will affect 1,282 workers.

Pierrot Fortin, who experienced such heartache during the last impasse in the early 2000s, is again preparing for lost income and uncertainty.

“Work stoppages like this are never easy,” said the truck driver who hauls wood from forests in the Lac-Saint-Jean region.
“It has an impact on families and everyone is worried.”

But the 48-year-old says he’s luckier than some — his house is almost paid for, and his two children are no longer babies.

Fortin feels for young families and older workers who have few employment alternatives in one-industry towns.
