Frankly this whole American Health Care System, Obamacare and Trumpcare, is sell out to the private insurance industry in America.
It is not consistent with the broad brush of Trump's political philosophy. In economic terms that means supporting policies that are nationalist, populist, dirigiste and progressive. It does mean capitulating to the lousy Free Market, small government agenda of the libertarian NeoCons of the Republican Party, the legates of Trickle Down Reaganomics. It does not mean regressive taxation, free trade, deregulation of monopolies or financial institutions, privatization, monetarism. All those will work against him objectives.
In Health Care the only solution that will work is the Single Payer Nationalized Health Insurance that most the developed world already has. That should be supported by a competitive and efficient private system of health care providers. Progressive Repulicans and Democrats would agree on that.

Hi. You're an idiot. Most of the developed world is on some variation of the mandatory-insurance model, often mixed with government payment. Single-payer is a minority model.
