Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Baltimore, San Francisco, Los Angeles all have a Mad Max feel and all have been run by Dems since Moses was floating in the reeds.

Holy gas-lighting, Batman!

Some of us are intelligent enough to see through some of the measures Trump has taken in the past few months, to circumvent a fair and balanced election. You cannot see the forest from the trees.

In reality, it is you, who holds contempt and hatred for America. If you had any sense of morality, you would call out the Trump Administration for the criminal acts they are implementing, to insure that Trump wins the election, or that the election itself will be deemed inconclusive, due to the inability to process and count ballots in a specific time-frame.

Some of us can see that the draconian measure enacted by the GOP and the Trump Administration will hurt America irreversibly.
So , why would you care ? You are a superior Canadian and look down your nose at Americans , you should be cheering their demise.

Better keep Gov. and businesses locked down through the fall

Coronavirus cases could exceed Canada’s health care capacity this fall, officials warn

Canada is planning for a fall peak in coronavirus cases, followed by a number of smaller waves, in a possible worst-case scenario for the COVID-19 pandemic this fall, officials said at a briefing Friday.

This initial peak could exceed the health-care system’s capacity to handle patients, warned Dr. Theresa Tam, chief public health officer of Canada, and smaller ones might as well. Exceeding the health care system's capacity means high mortality, she said.

This was one of several scenarios that the Public Health Agency of Canada released as part of a modelling exercise Friday. Another scenario, which officials said they’re aiming for, is a “slow burn” where case rates are kept low and within the health-care system’s capacity to manage.

Which scenario Canada ends up experiencing depends on our actions over the next few months, they said. ....More

Timing of this is pretty amazing right when Trudie is free falling in Canadian polls over WE

"Which scenario Canada ends up experiencing depends on our actions over the next few months, they said" - that is obvious and sadly there is a minority who aren't listening and furthermore don't give a shit about the rest of us. Just wish Horgan would practice what he preaches and bring down the hammer!

I think Girth has it right and you are "right off the rails"!
You are welcome to your opinion . We here in Canada have had a suspended parliament for the last six months , our prime minister comes out of hiding to throw money at every and all causes so much so that we have outspent the equivalent of the World War Two effort in six short month without parliamentary oversight . Much of that money doled out to friends and insiders of the minority liberal government in sole sourced contracts .Our prime minister has been embroiled in three separate ethics violations , our finance minister has been caught in at least two conflict of interest conflicts . And on and on . Yet you , Girth , Cliffy , OceanBreeze , Mockingbird and others are completely focused on Trump and America , why is that ? Where is that outrage and passion for what is happening in your own country ?

Went for breakfast yesterday Osoyoos B.C. Smitty’s , okay food , busy place , all tables distanced but busy , lineup at the door . One customer in the restaurant was wearing a mask , no staff , and no social distancing in the lineup . One patron out of 55 capacity establishment . I think people are ignoring the experts .

Sorry bud, but you are WRONG on one point. I am NOT completely focused on Trump, as a matter of fact I've put out the suggestion to ignore him. Read before shooting off your big trap!

There has never been a pandemic without a second wave.

But given such a peak never happened the first time, I think this round is a bit of fearmongering. With mask legislation in place in a lot of cities, I don't anticipate too much of a spike. The only reason for concern is the re-opening of schools.

But in B.C. it's already been spiking 400% worse than before and the schools haven't opened yet. Right now is the time to get on it!

Yes you have , yet you still post on all anti Trump threads . Follow your own advice and ignore him , he won’t go away but the blood pressure might recede.

Your gas-lighting knows no limits.

If you think criticism of the Trump Administration is anti-American, you do not believe in democracy.

Wishing for the destruction of America, our neighbors and leading trading partner, is a new low for you.
Yup that is my wish alright. You got me there . How do you like watching your country falling a part on your watch ? Are you proud ?
