Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

The picture 'feels' more like the east (vs west) side of the province to me...so I'm assuming again along the #5 highway? Closer to Manitoba? Maybe Cote? Am I warm?
I'm not exactly sure. I haven't been up Hwy 8 past Slamsack in awhile. I thought it might be treaty day on Cote.

COVID 19: Treaty annuity payment events postponed
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) is postponing all treaty annuity payment events until further notice.

To receive your treaty payment, fill out a treaty annuity payment request form (PDF, 75 Kb, 1 page) and mail it to your ISC regional office.
Treaty payments will be mailed back in the form of cheque.

Re: COVIDD-19 'Pandemic'

At this point there's no real point to talking to Blackie. He can't understand the simplest, softball questions, he is ignorant on the level that Trump adores and those are just two of his 'nicer' qualities.

NB is opening more. The family 'bubble' is allowed to be expanded (soon if not already).

There's big issues though now with people wanting to cross borders, either between us and Quebec or Nova Scotia. I see both sides of the points being made though; with both provinces having cases still pop up, we shouldn't open the borders... and yet for people who have part time homes here or who come from areas of either province who don't have cases, what's the problem if they adhere to NB medical regulations going on now.

There's been some talk though too of people in Maine getting to bring camping trailers over the border, but I don't know how true that is. Much as I've reasons to go to the US, I do NOT want to go until they've got some sort of handle on things which, sadly, likely won't be until they change presidents or next year at the earliest.

Congratulations, you are starting to catch on (not that Blackie can fool anyone) :) Finally a post deserving a "greenie".

Yesterday, here in COVIDFREELAND it was busy. The quiet is gone. All one can hear is traffic. A month ago all you could hear was dogs barking and birds chirping.

Just leave all the old people confined to their homes everything will be fine . Senior care at it’s finest.

UK announces 235 more coronavirus deaths in hospitals as official figures reveal London and South East of England reported NO new COVID-19 cases for 24 hours

Hospitals in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have announced the deaths of 235 more people who had been diagnosed with COVID-19, taking the UK's total to at least 35,576. More detailed data shows that the number was already at 44,000 about a week ago, but not all those people were tested so thousands are not included in the official count. Testing data shows that, of specimens collected in England on Monday, May 18, none have yet tested positive for COVID-19 in London and the South East of England - the two regions are home to around a third of the British population. Officials say cases will be found over the coming days as more people get test results back.
