"Some Pharisees came and tested him by asking, 'Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?' 'What did Moses command you?' he replied. They said, 'Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce and send her away.'
'It was because your hearts were hard that Moses wrote you this law,' Jesus replied. 'But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.' 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. 'So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.'
When they were in the house again, the disciples asked Jesus about this. He answered, 'Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her. And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery." (Mark 10:2-12 NIV)
To the hardened Jewish religious leaders, Jesus gives laws, SS. To humble disciples, Jesus gives truth.
Marriage is from God (good). Divorce is spiritual violence (bad). divorce + remarriage = adultery (bad to worse).
Jesus is truthful; but the narrations and passing of time and other factors made many alterations in the religion of God.
The religion of God was before Moses; Moses was not the first prophet.
But the law was made clear with Moses; God revealed to him the Torah to be a light and guidance to the Children or sons of Israel.
Jesus came and said: he would not change the Law; the Law had been made by God Almighty: the Jews call Him: Yahweh; He is the same Creator and Lord of all nations; although some of them try to mislead themselves and misleads others that Yahweh is not God and not Allah and not Khodah.
Anyhow, God the Creator: He revealed the Law to Moses, and Jesus worked according to the Law of God.
The Quran came to correct the mistakes and the alterations that occurred in the Torah, specially that Torah written by Ezra son of Siraeh: which is the present Torah included also in the Old Testament.
The religion of God is the same: with only some moderations according to the circumstances and according to the time.
So you cannot say there is no divorce. How can that be: when one of the two spouses commits adultery?
But the meaning, that you did not read the first post in this thread: because
you don't want to discover the truth about the Quran: i.e. this is very difficult to you: you want to blind yourself.
If man divorces his wife, and another one marries her, the first husband cannot return her to him and cannot marry her once again. This is in the Torah and in the Quran according to the interpreter Mohammed-Ali Hassan Al-Hilly.
The other point which even many Muslims do not know: Neither the husband nor the wife may demand the divorce without a justified cause: either the adultery of one of them, or the wife is disobedient to her husband (she is impolite: goes wherever she wants and does whatever she likes and does not comply with her husband.)
And another reason for the divorce: if there is a mutual agreement of both the husband and wife.
Other than this, the divorce is not allowed.
