Considering that the US has tampered and interfered with elections in just about every country on the planet, I find this approach rather hypocritical at best. There is no empirical proof Russia did anything of the sort but this whining sounds just like sour grapes to most of the rest of the world. It looks like the Dems are not willing to take responsibility for their own actions. Although I hope beyond hope that Trump doesn't get by the electoral college, I can't see how they can endorse Hillary either. This election has been absurd from the start. But it did wake up a lot of people to the fact that elections have been rigged for ever and now everybody should be aware that the system needs to be changed. The constitution was written to protect the rich. It never was about representing the people. It never was a democracy. Trump's rise to power has shown that the system is corrupt to the bone and if the Dems want to get any credibility back they would stop this stupid charade, accept responsibility for losing the election and fight to bring democracy to the country. Otherwise, stop their whining and let the people do the job for them.

Which ones did they interfer with? Is there a list? Before or after UN got into election monitoring in the 40's? We're they the ones who prevented China from hacking the Trump campaign but allowed Russia to hack the Hillary campaign?

Explain in detail without using youtube or a meme.

Notice how what was hacked is conveniently not talked about. Voting machines were not hacked. Email servers were hacked which showed some pretty scumbag moves by the dems. This is like when you catch your girlfriend cheating, and she gets mad at you for being nosey.

So Russian hackers are cleverer than US cyber security experts?

Not seeking debate but that appears to be what is being suggested by Obama and co.

Only winner appears to be Putin in all this, if he was party to the hack he wins, if he was not again he wins.

and then...They Sent Out The President Of The United States To Try To Sway The Electoral College!

The electoral college won't be swayed. Some might not vote for Trump, but they won't vote for Hillary either. And in any case, the House would have a final say if there are shenanigans.

Anyway kids...I wish the CIA was this thorough with 33, 000 emails that were lost.

Yes, of course. 3rd in line using a nonsecure server is flat out odd.

As for Trump and Putin being in cahoots without the NSA knowing every word of their conversations is impossible.

I think most of the sh*t in this thread is just fodder for the news net works and for small minds generally who have nothing else of importance or interest in their lives. Maybe outlawing computers in sublet basements would eliminate the phenomenum.

Judge Napolitano Drops A Bomb: US Intelligence Was Behind Hacks — Not Russia
Judge Napolitano: U.S. Intel Was Behind Hacks -- Not Russia | The Daily Caller

On Wednesday evening, NBC News aired a story claiming that unnamed “senior intelligence officials” told them that Russian President Vladimir Putin was personally involved in hacking the US election. The claims have been mocked and refuted by a number of former intelligence officials, as well as Congressman Peter King, a member of the House Intelligence Committee.

CIA director: FBI and CIA find 'strong consensus' that Russian hacks were intended to help Trump win election - LA Times
what no PROOF?

lol
a damn consensus?

By the end of the day Friday, thanks to the anonymous leaks, we already knew the likely conclusion of a review that hadn’t even happened: Russia had hacked targets associated with Hillary Clinton’s campaign, the Washington Post reported, relying on anonymous sources familiar with some CIA briefings to the Senate, “to help Donald Trump win the presidency.” Russia’s goal of helping Trump was “quite clear,” said those anonymous leaks.

But how clear? The story itself was muddled on this point, and the unresolved questions reminded me of another time anonymous sources touted intelligence that was supposedly quite clear—when claims about aluminum tubes helped get us into the Iraq war.
Is there really a spook consensus about Russian meddling?

oh the washinmashineington spin cycle post is it?

How to Really Punish Russia for Hacking

After much hand-wringing, the Obama administration admitted that the Russian government interfered with the presidential election. (It was not a 400-pound hacker, unless that hacker lives in Moscow.) It’s true that people often question attribution, but the critics were wrong on Sony and they are wrong now. It was the Russians.

What the U.S. worries about when it comes to responding to cyberattacks, once attribution has been determined, is the risk of escalating conflict or damaging other important equities.

One reason for Obama’s delay in addressing the hacking was a desire not to appear to be interfering in the election—which seemed like a safe calculation back when the White House thought Clinton was certain to win. There was also the pious hope—don’t laugh—for a peace deal with Moscow on Syria.

The Russians calculated that they could manipulate the U.S. without punishment. So far, they have been right. They have succeeded beyond their greatest hopes. There is no reason for them to stop of their own accord and the likelihood of further Russian action is high if the U.S. does not take action in response.
