I agree, Cliffy. Spiritual and physical pollution are hazards in our suboptimal habitat.
Has our spiritual/physical domain always been polluted? If not, how did it decline?
How do we protect against this pollution?
Is that the same C. S. Lewis who said you either believe Jesus is God or believe Jesus was a lunatic or liar for making the claims he dd.
What are some of the claims Jesus made or were attributed to him.
1. Virgin birth
2. God is his Father
3. Messiah
4. God himself.
5. Sacrificial lamb for the sins of the world
6. Was given all authority over heaven and earth after his resurrection.
Historically we know Jesus had a very short ministry which lasted between 1-3 years. More is said about him than what he actually taught. The Jews rejected him as their messiah. He was tried, convicted and put to death for blasphemy. This was in accordance with God's commandment to Moses not to suffer false prophets, they must be put to death.
Deuteronomy 18: 20 But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded him to say, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, must be put to death."
So how do Christians reconcile historical facts with their beliefs which are based mainly on faith, intelligently? How can they support a view which is in tangent with the views of the Jews , the very people God saved in the great flood, made a covenant with through Abraham, led them out of Egypt and gave them his commandments through Moses, only to turn his back on them and reach out to the Gentiles..
Is Christian intelligence evolving or is it stuck advancing antiquated beliefs borrowed from a small sectarian Jewish religion and offered to the Gentiles by the apostle Paul in an adapted form called the Pauline Christianity.
Mostly by killing anybody that points out the utter risibility of their religion.
Sounds like an extreme religion. Imagine Christians have been praying to Jesus for over 2000 years to return so that judgment will be passed on all this billions of unbelievers. Their perseverance and patience must be fuelled by the thirst to see 3/4 of humanity sent to the pits of hell.
If Matthew 25:31-46 is anything to go by, heaven's gonna be a pretty sparsely populated place.

ensure the people speaking and writing them got a chance to die in be instead
of on a stake.
Isn't it funny how those who go against the system or believe or practice things
outside of the churches influence are frowned upon. The churches today are the
bull work of supporting mostly one ideology of government. Think back to the time
of Christ. His ministry was not in keeping with the statuesque he was the rebel
and the sh*t disturber. What has happened is the people who would have opposed
Christianity centuries ago hijacked the whole belief system to use as a weapon
against the very free thought that was being proposed. Didn't Christ say somewhere
not to close your ears and to beware of Wolves in Sheep's Clothing.
Religion has become an addiction to conquer all the other addictions and has lost its
way. It has actually become about an instant magic solution wrapped in forgiveness
and faith rather than taking responsibility for ones actions.
Religion is not the problem, the misuse of religion on a mass scale has become the
problem because people believe in blind faith instead of doing their own thought
evaluation.

You predict that 3/4 of humanity will be judged unworthy of eternal fellowship with God, HK. On what is this prediction based?
It is based on statistics. 3/4 of the world are non-believers and according to the scriptures will be judged as such.
Would you please post some statistical and scripture references, HK? Thanks.
