Plenty of not-rich folk don't keep it neither. Yet every swingin' d*ck of 'em is firmly convinced Saint Peter's just holding the Pearly Gates wide open for 'em.

Oh, it also wasn't an admonition. It was a condition for everlasting life. Anyone who argues that must have at least a master's in theology. Or be ordained.
All it takes is a passage that add the right piece to make a 'solid case'

1Pe:4:12-18:
Beloved,
think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you,
as though some strange thing happened unto you:
But rejoice,
inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings;
that,
when his glory shall be revealed,
ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
If ye be reproached for the name of Christ,
happy are ye;
for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you:
on their part he is evil spoken of,
but on your part he is glorified.
But let none of you suffer as a murderer,
or as a thief,
or as an evildoer,
or as a busybody in other men's matters.
Yet if any man suffer as a Christian,
let him not be ashamed;
but let him glorify God on this behalf.
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:
and if it first begin at us,
what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
And if the righteous scarcely be saved,
where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

BTW the 24,000 children that die of hunger daily would show that the church isn't doing all they can as a lot of their energy goes towards creating the condition that facilitate those deaths. Those children will be saved before any Christian.

Yep. Jesus said so.

More than said, TB - did:

"Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, 'I am thirsty.' A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus’ lips. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, 'It is finished.' With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit." (John 19:28-30 NIV)

It is finished. The remedy is there for whosoever...

No, said. In the text we're talking about. The remedy is eternal life for people who can master two simple, unambiguous, easy-to-follow instructions, and eternal punishment for those who don't follow those two simple instructions, no matter how clever they are at misinterpreting Jesus. If you're a believer, I'd get to feeding, giving drink, clothing, sheltering, and comforting folk if I was you.

Anybody ever conceived get eternal life. You are talking about being in the Re:20:4 group that will be gathered as soon as possible. Even the Jews are going to have it rough as their role is to be the harlot of Satan, that doesn't have a good outcome if making it through alive is of any importance. They are all destined for a resurrection except for 144,000 children, symbolic of the children that died when Jesus was born, because he was born is more accurate.

The words, 'It is finished.' was a reference to the bruise to the heel of Eve's seed from Ge:3:15. All things associated with that bruise was completed, Christ will say, 'It is done.' when he pours out the last vials on the Gentiles and that is the completion of the bruise to Satan, as that is when he is put into chains to await his execution. That is why there is a first gathereing, the people that witness him being sent to the lake will be Shepherds to the GWT flock in the new earth. Sin in that place would mean the fiery lake and thes ones would know just what that means as they were there to see it in action. (incentive to keep all flock members safe, as well as themselves)

Look at the 70 weeks verses if you want the lisy of what was accomplished in terms of those 3 words. God Himself will also say those words just before the new earth begins and he is referencing the beginning and end of this earth as it is a seed-bank for the start of the New earth, the perfected one.

Isa:66:22:
For as the new heavens and the new earth,
which I will make,
shall remain before me,
saith the LORD,
so shall your seed and your name remain.

As we speak, TB. Giving it out - spiritual food. Are you filled yet? : )
You can't fill people up when you are only feeding them milk verses.

1Co:3:1-4:
And I,
brethren,
could not speak unto you as unto spiritual,
but as unto carnal,
even as unto babes in Christ.
I have fed you with milk,
and not with meat:
for hitherto ye were not able to bear it,
neither yet now are ye able.
For ye are yet carnal:
for whereas there is among you envying,
and strife,
and divisions,
are ye not carnal,
and walk as men?

Heb:5:9-14:
And being made perfect,
he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
Of whom we have many things to say,
and hard to be uttered,
seeing ye are dull of hearing.
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers,
ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God;
and are become such as have need of milk,
and not of strong meat.
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness:
for he is a babe.
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age,
even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

You're preaching to the choir, Brother : )

"Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation..." (1 Peter 2:2 NIV)

I hope that doesn't mean a belief in a pre-trib rapture. The ascension to God for a sinless and immortal people takes place when Satan and the fallen angels are headed for the Lake. They get to enter New Jerusalem and miss the interview by God at the Great White Throne part.

Isa:51:6:
Lift up your eyes to the heavens,
and look upon the earth beneath:
for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke,
and the earth shall wax old like a garment,
and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner:
but my salvation shall be for ever,
and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

I belong to the Laodicean Church but Luke is not my name.

Re:3:18:
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire,
that thou mayest be rich;
and white raiment,
that thou mayest be clothed,
and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear;
and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve,
that thou mayest see.

Which planet are you residing on?
The one that is first on the list to 'be fixed', too bad you are on a different one.

Anyone that has to go as far back as Isaiah to find an intelligent Christian response should be put on a fast track forward program.

Don't pass your unbelief onto me, I'll take what the book says over your promotion. All prophecy in the 12 books listed after Daniel have to do with the day the two witnesses are resurrected. A small example is provided, this is His Army collected the wicked for the feast. I already know your version would be incorrect.

Lu:24:27:
And beginning at Moses and all the prophets,
he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Joe:2:1-11:
Blow ye the trumpet in Zion,
and sound an alarm in my holy mountain:
let all the inhabitants of the land tremble:
for the day of the LORD cometh,
for it is nigh at hand;
A day of darkness and of gloominess,
a day of clouds and of thick darkness,
as the morning spread upon the mountains:
a great people and a strong;
there hath not been ever the like,
neither shall be any more after it,
even to the years of many generations.
A fire devoureth before them;
and behind them a flame burneth:
the land is as the garden of Eden before them,
and behind them a desolate wilderness;
yea,
and nothing shall escape them.
The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses;
and as horsemen,
so shall they run.
Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap,
like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble,
as a strong people set in battle array.
Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
They shall run like mighty men;
they shall climb the wall like men of war;
and they shall march every one on his ways,
and they shall not break their ranks:
Neither shall one thrust another;
they shall walk every one in his path:
and when they fall upon the sword,
they shall not be wounded.
They shall run to and fro in the city;
they shall run upon the wall,
they shall climb up upon the houses;
they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
The earth shall quake before them;
the heavens shall tremble:
the sun and the moon shall be dark,
and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army:
for his camp is very great:
for he is strong that executeth his word:
for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible;
and who can abide it?

Most Christians would say the ones being taken are saved, they aren't. they are taken to become the feast for the birds and beasts of the field.

M't:24:40:
Then shall two be in the field;
the one shall be taken,
and the other left.
M't:24:41:
Two women shall be grinding at the mill;
the one shall be taken,
and the other left.

M't:13:41:
The Son of man shall send forth his angels,
and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend,
and them which do iniquity;

M't:13:49:
So shall it be at the end of the world:
the angels shall come forth,
and sever the wicked from among the just,

M't:24:28:
For wheresoever the carcase is,
there will the eagles be gathered together.

Lu:17:37:
And they answered and said unto him,
Where,
Lord?
And he said unto them,
Wheresoever the body is,
thither will the eagles be gathered together.

Re:19:17:
And I saw an angel standing in the sun;
and he cried with a loud voice,
saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven,
Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

Re:19:21:
And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse,
which sword proceeded out of his mouth:
and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Nope, problem with the hypocrites who claim to believe in Jesus and pawn off their unwillingness to do as he commanded with crap terms like "spiritual food."

If I did that, I might have to pay taxes.

I suppose you are going to waste another vote in 2016 just to spite the 47%.
