then I guess the christians are really trying to convince themselves of something, eh?

From what I can tell, it ain't any 'Christian' posters that are starting up threads whining about trivial news items, let alone using extreme examples of something and extrapolating it across a large segment of the globe.

... Too bad you can't say the same, eh?

the phrase, " much ado about nothing" comes to mind or as my mother would say, you're making a mountain out of a mole hill.

However I did notice that the Trump jumped on the bandwagon so I guess that makes this an important social issue. Good ole Presbyterian you know.

Christianity and the resultant civilization was built on hundreds of millions of dead bodies of the indigenous peoples of the world. Something, I think, is worth letting go of. Christianity has never had anything to do with the teachings of Jesus and everything to do with the teachings of Paul. Christianity is a misnomer at best. You pass judgement on things you know nothing about. It is precisely because of people like you that I left the church.

Into a world the is brutal, short, miserable.. afflicted with superstition, ignorance, disease, war, famine, tyranny. Welcome to Islam.. the ONLY other religion with a global messianic mission.. the heir apparent of the 'failed' Christian 'experiment'.

And if you'd ever read the Epistles, Cliffy.. you'd realize their is no contradiction between what Paul proclaimed and that which Mathew, Mark, Luke, John and the other revelators and apostles also did.

The entire moral and prophetic continuity of the Old and New Testaments forms a cohesive, integral, comprehensive, temporal whole. Ultimately it will be realized.. but it appears our pride and infidelity will drive us into a New Dark Age first.

It's your opinion that there is whining. Others call it discussing.

To bad your too busy whining about people discussing news articles to see that.

Those who claim to worship the Prince of Peace need to get together with those who claim to follow the religion of Peace in an effort to bring about Peace and reconciliation.

I wrote similar words in youtube the other day and was called a F.....g K1ke for saying so. Naturally, I did not exactly turn the other cheek.

Man, you used to be one of the more stable, logical conservatives on here, but ever since you moved to Alberia, your personality has made a radical change. I don't recognoze this person anymore.

I.E. If they don't agree with you there is something wrong with them?

It's just a cup of coffee, for cripies sake! It's not a surrender flag.

I'm sitting here with a Tims cup and it doesn't mention xmas at all. Just Warm Wishes and snowflakes and trees. Maybe Tims (burger king) went for the Pagan version this year.....

Last week, the American Family Association released its "Naughty or Nice List," designed to let consumers "know which companies are Christmas-friendly" so they can patronize them this holiday season in an effort to fight back against the "secular forces in our country that hate Christmas because the word itself is a reminder of Jesus Christ."

Today, Liberty Counsel released its own "Naughty or Nice List," which likewise "applauds retailers who acknowledge the reason for the season, and exposes those who do not."

We have looked over both lists and realized that conservative Christians activists who intend to use them to plan their holiday shopping are going to find themselves very confused as to just which retailers are "naughty" and which are "nice," considering that several stores received opposite designations on the American Family Association and Liberty Counsel lists.

For instance, Liberty Counsel lists Barnes & Noble, Bath & Body Works, Best Buy, CVS and Staples as "nice," while the AFA lists those same stores as either "naughty" or "marginal":
