Only ravens I know fly and that does take some athletic ability. Or drugs and I sure they don't make drugs.

Like walking to humans...birds to the air takes no athletic ability.

The Baltimore Ravens do suck though. I wouldn't even be on his azz if he didn't open his mouth BEFORE the game.

And I like cheap gas!

Still think Harper has anything to do with this? It's really the Saudis not cutting back production in the face of falling demand and a significant increase in U.S. production capacity, in an attempt to maintain market share and drive the higher cost producers out. That's most of the reason, but if you're satisfied with simple explanations of complex situations, that'll do.

Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised to fill up from near empty for just $35. As soon as the pump came to quick and unexpected halt the first thought that came to mind was 'thank you Mr Obama'.

Right now BHO is visiting Saudi Arabia to provide additional oil governance. Good job Barack!

VANCOUVER - Gas prices are expected to drop by four cents a litre overnight Thursday, just in time for that long weekend road trip.

“If you’re filling up with gas for the long weekend wait until tomorrow,” said Dan McTeague, senior petroleum analyst at GasBuddy.com, a gas monitoring website, on Thursday morning.

McTeague predicts the cost of fuel will drop in Metro Vancouver to about $1.32 a litre from $1.36 thanks to lower prices in the U.S. and a huge shipment of gas from Newfoundland.

Prices in Abbotsford and Langley could dip as low as $1.23, he said.

“We haven’t seen a drop of this magnitude in quite some time,” McTeague said. “It sometimes comes down one, two or three cents, but four puts it in a different category.”

One of the reasons is the U.S. market on the Pacific side, especially California, is starting to see some relief with speculators looking at more vessels coming in to relieve their tightness in supply.

With vessels of crude oil coming into Los Angeles from Newfoundland, the price tumbled almost 20 cents a gallon yesterday, said McTeague, which translates to about a four cents across the board decrease.

Gas prices have been lower this season than previous summers, which McTeague said is also due to some more refineries coming back online like the Shell refinery in Anacortes.

Last week, prices hit $1.36 a litre, which was about seven cents cheaper than the same time last year.

McTeague said he doubts consumers will see the prices go back up soon, and drivers likely won’t see prices go higher than last week’s height of about $1.36.

However, he cautioned that the Loonie’s volatility is day to day, just like the gasoline market, so a drop in prices for Friday may see an increase Saturday.

“So best day to fill up is Friday,” he said.
