"Every Scripture is God breathed..." 2 Tim 3:16.

But, tradition is not. When we replace God's Word with the traditions of the church, we are siding with Satan, who said, "Yea, hath God said...?" Gen 3:1.

When what is taught in my church doesn't line up with Scripture, I speak up. Do you speak up when something is taught in your church that doesn't line up with Scripture?

I dare say if one were to select 100 Canadian Catholics at random and ask them what the end-times were, they'd reply, "No Canadian team in the Stanley Cup finals." Religious myths are treated as myths.

Just as God has His sheep in the Protestant churches, I believe, He has His sheep in the Catholic Church.

The Apostle Paul wrote, "Now this I say, that everyone of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas (Peter); and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 1 Cor 1:12,13.

He calls the denominational system, "The Mother of harlots." Rev 17.

"And I heard another Voice, from heaven saying, COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of HER PLAGUES. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities." (lawlessness) Rev 18:4,5.

Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice, and I KNOW THEM, and they follow Me." John 1027.

How do we come out? By doing as the Bereans: "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the Word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so." Acts 17:11.

When what is taught in my church doesn't line up with Scripture, I speak up...some like it, others prefer their traditions.

Our allegiance should be to the Word of God, alone.

You must be a real pain in the butt to the pastor. I don't have a church, and I don't attend services except as a courtesy to people I care about, for things like weddings and funerals. That's obviously not the right moment to speak up on these matters. I have no use for any church, I think they're all peddling delusion, ignorance, and superstition. And that's what I think of what you're trying to promote too. You are simply, utterly, and completely, wrong, according to everything I understand about the way things are.

No, he respects me. If you don't go to church, you probably don't know the Lord. My allegiance is to the Word, alone.

Please read my post, "Except a man be born again..." All you have to do is take Him as your Savior, and receive Him into your heart. Then, you will have eternal life. Jesus said, "You must be born again." He will love you from the inside/out.

So many Christians are longing for His coming again, as I do.

You will die a disappointed man, as will all christians. He isn't coming and if he did, you and your kind will be the first he condemns for being self righteous and disrespectful of your fellow man. You think you know the truth but you have no idea who or why or when your book was put together. You just have blind faith in a book that was put together to delude you by Emperor Constantine who was not a christian.

He did it purely to save his empire from being destroyed by rampaging christians around 300 AD. He succeeded in controlling the unruly hords and he left the catholic church to continue his legacy of opression. The born again movement has taken one passage out of a book of fiction and turned it into a lunatic fringe cult of doom sayers.

I do not say this to scorn you or ridicule you. I say it to save you from a wasted life. Life is for living in the present, not preparing for some ficticious future with some ficticious god and master.

Like I said, I've already read all your posts, and found nothing of substance. Watch this, takes about 20 minutes, and you'll find out that your ecstatic religious feelings are coming from inside your own head and you're misunderstanding your own brain functions.

Hello Herald,

I'm not sure why you, myself and other believers spend endless hours responding to the same old same. Is it we like to throw pearls to pigs, we're told not to waste our time. If they don't want to hear the message, shake the sand from your sandals and move on. That's my advice. You're not changing any minds and all that happens is things are left at the agree to disagree stage. Until the next round...on and on...

I for one have decided to not be baited into such fornication.

If His Spirit is within you, then you are born again. If not, you will end up in the lake of fire, at the judgment.

Everything I believe is from the Word of God, alone.

Do you keep the Ten Commandments? If not, you are lawless, and will not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

At the very end of the Scriptures, The Apostle John wrote, "Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have RIGHT to the tree of life, AND MAY ENTER IN through the gates into the city." Rev 22:14.

Covenants have conditions.

Unless you are born again, you will be destroyed in the lake of fire.

Let's see, I have flat lined twice. That means I was dead for a while but now I am living. Therefore I have born again twice. Heewww! I'm doubly safe!

If Jeezuz died for our sins, why did he attach conditions to it. I mean, how screwed up is that. That's like handing a drowning man a life saver but holding it back until he says how much he is thankful. That is just plain sick. You have a really warped sense of justice and fair play. I'm sure that if he is the son of god he isn't going to say that you are all saved, on one condition, you hold me in higher regard than anybody else. That would make him tantamount to a spoiled little brat.
