That would be wrong...................I believe a person should be allowed to retire at whatever age he/she wants to.
When has anyone ever been able to retire on a full Gov't pension? If you are talking about Superannuation that is something altogether different, where the beneficiary contributes.
Or has done a minimal amount of planning in advance.
My first thought was you wouldn't get any argument from me, but my second thought is there is probably fewer than 5% of teachers who are qualified to do it. The first prerequisite is to understand the difference between "wants" and "needs".
(Annual vacations in Hawaii or Mexico aren't "needs")

Really?? I contributed to the pension fund for many years and yes of course I am entitled to it......I would not starve or be destitute without it though. That comes from learning about finances & investing and of course hard work. So if you hope to make me feel guilty ,,,,,,too bad so sad.
