Yeah....... as long as a person is rich enough to do so without a full government pension as they have always been able to.

When has anyone ever been able to retire on a full Gov't pension? If you are talking about Superannuation that is something altogether different, where the beneficiary contributes.

Or has done a minimal amount of planning in advance.

RRSP's and TFSA and taking time to learn about investing. Many have done and are doing it. I do not understand why teaching children how to manage money is not a compulsory program in school.

My first thought was you wouldn't get any argument from me, but my second thought is there is probably fewer than 5% of teachers who are qualified to do it. The first prerequisite is to understand the difference between "wants" and "needs". :) :) (Annual vacations in Hawaii or Mexico aren't "needs")

.. And yet, you are lost without your gvt pension.

Entitled much?

Projecting your deficiencies onto others again Cliffy ?

I think that Cliffy just has an unhealthy fixation with dicks

Really?? I contributed to the pension fund for many years and yes of course I am entitled to it......I would not starve or be destitute without it though. That comes from learning about finances & investing and of course hard work. So if you hope to make me feel guilty ,,,,,,too bad so sad.

You're entitled to what you put in and no more.

Do the math and you'll see how inconsequential your contributions are worth in comparison to your perceived entitlement

Is that liking a bit of cream in my coffee, or bleach in my whites or should I be changing my black kitchen appliances in? When running out of put downs go for insinuations!

Racist!!

You're not admitting your White Privilege I take it.
