China give it a rest already the people of Canada own the Band of Canada simple done over.
Actually Canadians are well aware of finances and more so all the time.
Just for the hell of it I phoned my grand daughter and her hubby and asked them what they
actually know. they are twenty three. They just bought a house on their own because they
know about credit, investment and savings. They understand the concepts of inflation and
debt and they don't want to be there other than a home purchase.
I could go on but no need. Yes I asked about the Band of Canada, answer its a Crown
Corp owned by the government and therefore by the people of Canada.
The concept may be words to you but in reality beyond the ceremonial Queen thing it is owned
by we the people.

Don't know about the BoC, but the Federal Reserve is not a private bank. Not unless you stretch the meaning of "private" beyond all recognition.

The Bank of Canada was created by legislation, and is not a private bank as you put it. It was in fact created to basically print the money necessary to lend to the governments to pay for their operations. These loans were supposed to be repaid by Canadians to the BoC through taxes by Canadians with no interest attached. In fact the Governor of the BoC is appointed by the government and is independent of government. Somewhere along the line the BoC abandoned their role in creating money, and were allowed to turn the creation of money over to private banks, with compound interest attached to any money they supposedly created and loaned out. Currently the Chartered banks in Canada has approximately only $50 Billion on deposit, yet they have supposedly loaned out $1.4 Trillion. How is it possible that the banks are permitted to commit fraud by uttering fraudulent loans with no real money to extend those loans, and to rub salt into the wound, they have the audacity to ask people to pay them interest on money that does not exits. Incredible and disgusting. Instead of living their lives of luxury they should be in a prison cell with other fraudsters.

Sooooo. . . dumber'n a stump is OK?

I think I've found a home!
I prefer 'sharp as a marble'

Of course it is the central bank that owns the money... Stop for one minute and think about what, exactly money is?... It's a representation of wealth - it's a tiny contract that the bearer of the 'contract' can use that paper to transact across a common medium.

You own your wealth - and that's it

Money, as we know it, is merely something that is given a generally accepted value to be used as a medium of exchange for goods & services.

Why do we use money instead of still bartering? Well that is because the govt cannot tax bartering.

Words are never the thing? We have achieved the civilization we have because of the ability to express ideas.

Words are the tools with which we understand one another, and by your words, many here have come to understand that you don't know what you are talking about, and we see you are willing to throw a temper tantrum like a small child when you are challenged on it.

Hahhaaha , you are so lucky that you don`t even have a clue how shallow you are ....................lol ! I think that there are few who do know ,hahahaaah!

Speaking of shallow, most of your posts are lengthly spins of claptrap in which you plagarize at will, and very seldom give references or credit for someone else's work.

This smacks of show and tell, where you want to, above all, be noticed.................perhaps even praised. Ain't gonna happen.

You ARE noticed but for all the wrong reasons.

If we are so ignorant and shallow, and our very existance offends your sensibilities, you have the choice to move on. This option, should you decide to take it, will not negatively impact my life.

There, you've just been told to fukk off, but in a nice way.

Without a doubt, the cartoon clearly depicts the naiveté of Canadians when it comes to banking and money.

For instance, how many Canadians realize the Bank of Canada and the federal reserve are private banks? They are not government agencies, which begs the question, why are private banks dictating the control of money?

How many Canadians realize that a bank assumes zero risk on a loan or mortgage? They don’t loan you anything. But the real problem with perpetual debt is usury, or interest, which is money charged, but money not in circulation. So how can you pay a charge with money that doesn’t exist?

Regulated banks will not protect the Canadian economy from the crashing dollar values worldwide. If the loonie is so strong, why is it valued lower than the American dollar? It has been well documented that the U.S. dollar is in a tailspin.

If you really want to learn how things work, watch the videos Money As Debt( you tube ) and read a story called The Money Myth. Time well spent.

Bank of Canada?????????????
A quote from a 1924 edition of the American Banker's Association not intended for the public sums up what is currently happening all around us:

"Capital must protect itself in every possible way, both by combination and legislation. Debts must be collected, mortgages foreclosed as rapidly as possible. When, through the process of law, the common people lose their homes, they will become more docile and more easily governed through the strong arm of government applied by a central power of wealth under leading financiers. These truths are well known among our principal men who are now engaged in forming an imperialism to govern the world. By dividing the voter through the political party system, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting for questions of no importance. It is thus by discreet action we can secure for ourselves that which has been so well planned and so successfully accomplished."
The bottom line is that our present situation will not improve, ever, until we have significant reform to our banking and monetary policies. What has happened in this country is a result of lack of knowledge as t

iii) that s. 18(m) of the Bank of Canada Act, and its administration and
operation, is unconstitutional and of no force and effect, in
Parliament and the government, including the Defendant Minister of
Finance, abdicating their duty to govern, and insofar, as monetary,
currency and financial policies, per se, are concerned, and in turn as
they effect socio-economic governance, have abdicated their
constitutional duty(ies)and handed them over to those international,
private entities, whose interests, and directives, are placed above the
interests of Canadians, and the primacy of the Constitution of
Canada, not only with respect to its specific provisions, but also with
respect to the underlying constitutional imperatives, and which
provision reads:
(m) open accounts in a central bank in any other country or in
the Bank for International Settlements, accept deposits from
central banks in other countries, the Bank for International
Settlements, the International Monetary Fund, the
International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and
any other official international financial organization, act as
agent or mandatary, or depository or correspondent for any of
those banks or organizations, and pay interest on any of those
deposits;

China is right and the banking conspiracy is entirely true, even deeper. Parliament has no control over the Bank of Canada and successive Canadian governments have ignored the Canadian Constitution.

COMER: Call for Renaisssance
Those who oppose the revival of this monetary policy invariably charge that it would be inflationary, even though it was managed in the past without significant inflation. As the government through the Bank of Canada creates growing quantities of our money supply, the power of private banks to create money needs to be restrained, as was possible until 1991, when the reserve requirement for the private banks was surreptitiously removed from the Bank Act. This provision to the Bank Act needs to be restored to prevent inflation, as can readily be done.

I,m saying again .-many people born in this country have very little knowledge of anything major ..

I have taken this segment from darkbeaver,s post :

Therefore, we Canadian civil society organizations, who work for public welfare, call on our federal government to revive the powers of the Bank of Canada to provide funding to all levels of government in Canada, largely with interest-free loans, as was done between 1935 and 1975 with very low inflation, enabling our nation to break out of the Great Depression, to fulfill extraordinary responsibilities during World War II, and to prosper while building our infrastructure and highly valued social programs during some thirty post-war years. We Canadians now urgently need a renaissance of these powers of our Bank of Canada.

I read as far as the end of the second paragraph, and I don't think there's any "questing begging" involved. Governments (of virtually all stripes) are too stupid to have anything to do with money. Of course the private sector has its faults too, (like greed and theft) just to mention a couple, but at least with the private sector we stand a change of realizing a few pennies on the dollar unlike with a bunch of stumbling, bumbling, fumbling bureaucrats!

I,m saying again .-many people born in this country have very little knowledge of anything major ..

Being raised behind Iron Curtain I have learned (very fast) the importance of acquiring knowledge of things that affect me directly or directly.

Then I think you should put on a seminar for the bumblers like Harper and Obama. -:)
