If by socialists, you mean the NDP, then I can assure you that they are far from being socialists. Yes, they have some social policies but in some ways even the Liberals are more progressive. As for the Bloc, they are not really running anything just offering political support to the Coalition (i.e. to give it more weight).
Personally I'm not a fan of Ignatief: the man has been living in the US all this time and has close connections with the elite both here and the US, and is a supporter of many of the policies that have contributed to the deterioration of thes state's sovereignty. Dion may not have been great at PR but he had a far better track record than Igantief--socialist he was not though.
