"...since Christ was a cowboy!"

...used when something that hasn't changed in a long time. Example: Oh, that rust spot on the '59 Chevy has been there since Christ was a cowboy."

It is also acceptable to say "...since Jesus was a puppy" as a substitute. :cool:

A friend of mine had a great saying on raises - He would say - Goober - you got your nickel pay raise and you're worth every penny.

You know those times and they do arise where people ask - How Much -referring to what you paid for something

My saying is - a dollar three eighty - if they ask again you repeat - a dollar three eighty -
They normally get the point then to not ask as it is rude.

Works quite well

I like it...thanks! (It has an "eastern flavour" to it!)...

No, not familiar with that one. What does it mean?

One of my kids used to use that term about 20 years ago. I took it to mean cool or fashionably acceptable. In the genation previous I believe the term was "mint" and in the generation before that "keen".
