It only has to be the ones in charge, they do not have to be the majority but they do end up being the cruelest so there is a trait that is common to them all.

If the 'old system' was broken then to make sure it gets fixed right it has to be taken down to the foundation level. Oddly enough that means getting rid of the bad at the top and putting in the people that will see that change happen and if not them then whoever takes over that position.

as long as the USD petro dollar is up
The price of oil will be down

I know some here will get how that works
and some will not
I'm under the impression it was going to fall but the 'carbon tax' would replace it as the way the world banks keep getting money for nothing. That is where the petro dollar money went rather than to the US taxpayers. If that was the case the US would be $19T in the black rather than in the red. (plus all the other tentacles they have in the money pie)

Kerogen is only good for fuel and a few esters.
You can't make a blue box out of it.

Mammoth Texas oil discovery biggest ever in USA

CNN)Geologists say a new survey shows an oilfield in west Texas dwarfs others found so far in the United States, according to the US Geological Survey.

The Midland Basin of the Wolfcamp Shale area in the Permian Basin is now estimated to have 20 billion barrels of oil and 1.6 billion barrels of natural gas, according to a new assessment by the USGS.
That makes it three times larger than the assessment of the oil in the mammoth Bakken formation in North Dakota.
The estimate would make the oilfield, which encompasses the cities of Lubbock and Midland -- 118 miles apart -- the largest "continuous oil" discovery in the United States, according to the USGS.

900 billion worth
so much for scarcity driving the price back up

Kerogen. It's not the same as crude oil.

Getting old dummy find some new material.

Well, are you going to give him the address of a gay bar or not?

That is all Johnboy wants is to hook up with Juanboy.

Help him find the local "Fruit Loop" already.

Shale is used to produce Kerogen, which is harvested from sedimentary rocks [1]. Companies extract the kerogen from the rocks by using extreme heat, which is costly due to the high energy required. Shale oil and crude oil are comparable in almost every way except price (of sale and production)

not sure, your opinion seems to differ from the experts some.
anytime the price gets near to where this becomes profitable, that will be the ceiling for the price of oil

Shale oil is kerogen, kerogen is shale oil.

Absolutely not, I've been a person most of my life who has always figured that because "everybody has something" is NOT a reason for me to have it. I don't give a f**k about the Joneses! :) :)

Maybe we could get rid of modern roads - after all, most African nations don't have them. Your comments on this subject are making less and less sense. As I said it appears that you are going out of your way to be stupid.

Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion but I think you'd be further ahead to state facts. Why would you make such a dumb statement as to put modern highways in the same context as internet? No one has been killed or serious injured by the internet. With the internet we have viable alternative methods. I wasn't down playing the usefulness of intenet, just higher speed internet, but most important I was putting in context with the necessities of life......................food, water, shelter....................(life). You should quit before you get too stupid.
