How many global warming threads do we need anyway
perhaps direct your concerns to one of your fellow clubhouse crew... the guy has started 3 or 4 just in the last hour or so! Peace Out!
How many global warming threads do we need anyway
 That does not explain why.see polar/Arctic amplification... see northern/Arctic warming due to changes in clouds, water vapor, surface albedo and atmospheric temperature... see energy transport, particularly increased winter warming as a result of energy in the atmosphere being transported to the north pole through large weather systems

 That does not explain why.
And why Canada and not Russia, Greenland, Norway, Iceland, Sweden, or Finland?
Before you came back all we had were anti- Harper threads...perhaps direct your concerns to one of your fellow clubhouse crew... the guy has started 3 or 4 just in the last hour or so! Peace Out!
Warming causes warming but only in Canada, eh. Interesting.
What? Sorry, I was not listening.no - not only in Canada... you were corrected on this once already. You're now doing it purposely... accordingly, why should anyone give you the time of day in your fake drive for basic fundamental learning?
and yes, an example of your stated, 'warming causing warming' is albedo... the amount of the sun’s energy that is reflected off the Earth’s surface and back into space, rather than absorbed. An ice surface reflects energy back into the atmosphere resulting in a cooler surface temperature... melting ice results in less reflection, less reflected energy and a corresponding temperature increase. The same parallel exists with snow... melting snow and impacts on permafrost.

Your return seem to have put new energy in Mentalfluff....he's going round and round like the EverReady overheated bunny..
It's sickeningly laughable....
Well anyways, I will just take it for granted that scientists think EVERYTHING, not just Canada, north of 60 is warming faster than the rest of the planet.
Oh, you mean that Canadian scientists are only interested in CANADA warming, not GLOBAL warming. I see.
But if it makes you feel all fuzzy inside assuming you know more than anyone else or even just me, then by all means, keep being a condescending a$$.
see weather versus climate... in spite of your "billion years ago" distraction, care to provide an attribution for today's relatively recent temperature rise?

uhuh That sounds more like politics loosely based upon science than science itself.you see what you want to see... which is, apparently, purposeful fabrication. You ask why Canada is being "singled out"... your false interpretation was corrected; it was mentioned that Canadian scientists working for Environment Canada, speaking to Canada's First Minister's, highlighted the fact concerning Canada's warming rate... Canada, Canada, Canada.
No problem. You cannot answer my questions in depth anyways, by the looks of it. So much for your contribution to a DISCUSSION forum.no worries; clearly you have nothing to contribute and have zero interest in educating yourself... try to rise above the denier crew here! Don't bother to ask questions of me in the future - save yourself such drama/consternation!

Oh, yeah, and I know what albedo is and that ice reflects.

Someone, perhaps you, mentioned it in another thread but no, I did not hear of it. PM me if you would like to share, please. =)You never heard of his trip to Machu Pictchu have ya?
According to the IPCC, there was very little warming from humans before 1950. Therefore, this is what the trend looks like:

It don't take long for people to recognize his inherent qualities....
That and his level of bullshîte that he spews...
You never heard of his trip to Machu Pictchu have ya?
Oh I absolutely agree that Canada is warming at twice the global rate.
Here's some basic math for you:
2 x 0 = 0
Or pretty damn close.
uhuh That sounds more like politics loosely based upon science than science itself.
How many global warming threads do we need anyway
You are a cherry picker. One 1 of the 4 global temperature records don't show the pause, and you only go with the one. Why don't you show UAH, RSS, or HADCRUT? Because they don't fit your narrative.your eye-balled trend lines need some attention... that particular graphic is sufficient for broad based anomaly discussion. If you truly want to speak of temperature trending you need to be more precise, particularly working to ensure proper and inclusive dataset selection. As an aside, I note you attempting to perpetuate the "pause meme"... and, per norm, your eyeball trendline is conveniently choosing to align with one of the more significant Enso events... standard denier practice.
Ah, you mean you have not got the ability to go farther into depth and so are unwilling to admit that. Therefore you attempt to make it look like I am the one lacking. I see. Carry on, turnip.again, your question was answered. You haven't the basic understanding to even ask the right questions... to even begin to discuss basic fundamentals... let alone your suggested "in depth" level.
