Why, it isn't like he would be anywhere near the front-lines like some Iranian Generals are.

You do realize that there are different ranks of General, right? Brigadier generals are far more likely to be at or near the front than your 4 and 5 star types. If Iran has 5 star Generals anywhere near the front, that would indicate that ISIS is encroaching on or even operating beyond the Iranian border, not an indication that Iran's 5 stars are full of piss and vinegar
