Glyphosate is a moderately toxic herbicide and carries the signal word WARNING on the label. Even though the LD50 values show the compound to be relatively non-toxic it can cause significant eye irritation. The toxicity of the technical product (glyphosate) and the formulated product (Roundup) is nearly the same. The acute oral LD50 in the rat is 5,600 mg/kg. Other oral LD50 values for glyphosate are 1,538 to greater than 10,000 mg/kg for mice, rabbits mg/kg, and goats (1, 5).
In a number of human volunteers, patch tests produced no visible skin changes or sensitization.

Well over 40 years ago i watched many farmers spraying with an old open tractor and no protection, they were in their 40's and 50's, i know of none that died early of cancer but according to you they should have.
How much oatmeal have you eaten idiot? There would be none for less than 20 times the price you paid without roundup or carbine, or whatever. Just not very smart are ya? Oh well, the peeps you associate with .........

Why do we spray 2-4-D on wheat and oats fields use glysophate on barley,canola, soy and flax?
Weeds don't pay, they consumer water, nutrients and choke your crops. One weed seed will have an entire ship of grain turned away from importing country. Nobody wants noxious, invasive weeds in their country. You zay you've farmed 1.5 sections but I don't believe you.

Well that makes us even. I don't believe a lot of things you say. I farmed for 27 years. 1 section is 640 acres. A quarter is 80 acres. The amount did vary if we rented land or not. The 1800 acres was just under 3 sections or 22 quarters. The reason they use roundup and DDT previous is that it kills weeds. It is poisonous. Even with using the roundup etc. we still cleaned our seed to clean out weeds. Both for us and our neighbours. If the amount of land is what you wonder. We were a very small farm. Our cousin crops 6000 acres and that barely keeps his family going.
