CAIR Director on CNN: U.S. ‘Partly Responsible’ For Islamic Terrorism

The L.A. Director for the Council on American-Islamic Relations Hussam Ayloush said on CNN’s New Day Friday that the United States was partly responsible for terrorism carried out by Islamic terrorist groups like ISIS.

Ayloush made the comments live in San Bernardino, California, the site of a recent shooting attack that left fourteen people dead. Authorities now believe one of the shooters declared their allegiance to ISIS during the attack. “Let’s not forget that some of our own foreign policy, as Americans, as the West, have fueled that extremism,” he said.

“When we support coup leaders in Egypt or other places, when we supports dictatorship, oppressive regimes around the world that push people over on the edge, then they become extremists, then they become terrorists. We are partly responsible,” Ayloush continued.

Terrorism is a global problem, not a Muslim problem. And the solution has to be global. Everyone has a role in it.”

The deflection when Christians commit atrocities is it's not the shooters beliefs that are at fault but the victims of said violence......

A campaign is underway to recall Rep. JoAnn Windholz, R-Commerce City, who stirred up national ire after blaming Planned Parenthood, rather than the shooter, for the murders that took place Nov. 27 at the Colorado Springs clinic.

“Violence is never the answer, but we must start pointing out who is the real culprit. The true instigator of this violence and all violence at any Planned Parenthood facility is Planned Parenthood themselves,” Windholz wrote in a statement first published to friends on her Facebook site and then released to The Colorado Independent and made public — at least, until the public responded with vitriol and she either took the statement down or made it available only to approved friends on Facebook.

Thousands blasted Windholz for her remarks, and hundreds took to her Facebook page to express disgust and demand her resignation. The Aurora Sentinel, the community paper for part of her House district, joined the chorus Wednesday, asking her to step down.

But some aren’t willing to wait. If she doesn’t resign, they plan to force her out.

Another look over there in post #2
The only defense apologists have....it seems
Or calling someone "bigot"

Explain to us the difference in deflections of the 2 stories?

First story the deflection cited is the USA is partly to blame for the Muslim uprising.

2nd story the deflection is Planned Parenthood is to blame for the Christian uprising.

The truth is that much of the problem was created by Bush Rumsfeld and Chaney with their
second war with Iraq. They created a destabilizing vacuum in the region when they got rid of
Saddam. They went after Syria to get rid of the BAATH Party and the second leg of the problem
began. That does not excuse the violence in America or anywhere else however.
Muslims must address their issues with crazy people and the Republican Party must also
apologize for putting forward low quality leadership what is fueling the lowest common
denominator in the debate. Some of the are nuts as well. I know Clinton is shady well I now
prefer shady to crazy

He's right, but, people have a real problem these days accepting responsibility for their part in actions.

CAIR is a very controversial wing of the Muslim Brotherhood and their presentations often involve questions that history tells us about previous confrontations with radicalized Muslim groups. I have a tendency to view their position as counter to the US interests and also an attempt to lull us into thinking their is no problem other than what the US dreams up.

Hard to argue that the US isn't partly responsible.

Without US support for places like Saudi Arabia, things would be quite different.

But you're not supposed to mention that, especially if you happen to be a Muslim.
