How sad that you quibble over a number ...........of DEAD men, women , children , and surrounding destruction that goes with LIES of and for war.........when ONE death is too many

You sure don't quibble about the plus or minus 4000 americans (including other nationalities ) that died on Sept 11.

Were any of them RAPED?? Were any of them shot / slaughtered as a family and then have their bodies burned?? (trying pathetically to hide evidence of what really happened )

A life is a life..........and any life that is destroyed in an ugly devestating way is an example of barbarism. Both the 9-11 event and the irrational slaughter of Iraqis were an act of BARBARISM. lYING in order to do so , is perhaps the most illegal, imoral , unethical horrific behavior that man can be guilty of.

If you condemn Clinton for his silly lie about something that is none of your business and don't condemn bush for the lie that killed destroyed and ravaged in a far off nation that just happened to be oil rich and had a leader that one time was a US "friend" but suddenly turned into an enemy by the bush regime.

It is so irrational , it is hard to believe that folks blilndly and stupidly went along with it like the non thinking sheeple they turned out to be.

One wrongful death of a human being is unacceptable . (unless one has been brainwashed by the US WAR Policy ...... the one that means protracted wars in any region it chooses for whatever motives and lies it can come up with.

The motion picture industry is having a hay day coming up with themes for movies from the current wars......and of course the terrorist issue . All of which reinforce the promotion of violence directly and indirectly.

as I said before: terrorism is the gift that just keeps on giving. But folks would be horrified to admit that .......as then they would have to admit that they might be part of the dynamic by how they are handling the issue. (and sensationalizing it )

It's pretty clear from the cable you provided that the U.S. was very condemning of violence against inmates in Iraqi prisons. Those are U.S. diplomats talking privately amongst themselves about ways of inspecting prisons to make sure violence doesn't occur.
