The children were behaving in an anti social manner in an unsupervised area and no doubt had skipped their meds and should be investigated to determine that they have complied with vaccine regulations. This kind of deviance will not be tolerated by the state their parents of course will have to be arrested and interrogated. 14yrs old does seem a bit old for the innocent tree fort, stick fort building thing. Maybe these were truly just children, and I could be a bit jaded having seen what most 14yrs olds are like in this day and age. Fort building is not usually their forte. Malls and shopping and boys are more their style. But these kids could be different.
Are dog walkers in Britain a different sort then what we have in Canada? Surly and miserable? I may have been more fortunate than others, but I've not met alot of nasty dog walkers.

Around here you can't take your dog to a regular park. You have to go to a specified dog park.
Children should not play at unapproved unproductive activities that do not enhance the power of the state. That's why they're called dog parks. Some are ok with off leash. They are called Off Leash Dog Parks. The ones that aren't are just called Dog Parks, and dogs need to be leashed. One can find these parks using the olfactory gland about 5 blocks away, on a hot day.
We just walk our dog around a block, carrying a plastic poop bag. No need for a park.
