Their daughter getting too much attention in the media, putting their entire family in the national spotlight, did you notice George is also resigning from the Lincoln project for the same reason to focus on family?

Yes. I heard that too. If the daughter is acting out via social media.......... then they do have a family issues going on. If she wants to be emancipated from her parents......and announces same on Social media......... it is no surprise there are issues........with both parents being so politically in opposition to each other. (with Trump being in the middle)

and that could be because of absent or ineffective parenting.

Their Daughter claims that she is seeking emancipation because of years of abuse and trauma, and that it has nothing to do with her mom's job but since she (Claudia) joined Twitter just this past May (according to her Twitter page) she has been very vocal about Trump, and her parents, especially her mom.

Y'know, fifteen-year-old rich girls are not generally the gold standard for accuracy and clarity.

I'd also recommend treating Ms. Conway the way you would have wanted Malia and Sasha Obama treated (i.e., left alone).

I agree, but these sure are different times we live in. Trump has caused so much division in the States, even to the point of tearing families and friends apart, in fact it's referred to as "The Trump Effect" and it is quite real. Now I know that politics is always a hot topic and family and friends don't always see eye to eye. But Trump being such a polarizing figure, people who love him adore him and people who hate him despise him, the two can easily collide in personal relationships and even to extended family.

The fact that their daughter put herself out there makes her a part of that conversation, the overall conversation of just how deeply Trump has influenced division in families and friendships. Kids express themselves more and more on social media today and from what I have seen in just a short look at her Twitter page, she has a lot of support behind her. Criticism? Yep, she has that too, all a part of the game. But maybe just maybe that support may have kept her from acting out in a much different way. And so leave her alone when it was she who started the conversation that may have helped her in many ways, including her parents refocusing on what truly matters? And if they were influenced by people's reaction to their daughter's public presence/voice, both good and bad, then I'm glad that she wasn't left alone. Maybe now this family can put itself back together, I wish them well.
